chapter 1

Y/N pov

It was a cold cloudy night in hyrule and I was roaming through a forest trying to find shelter or a village where I could be safe. at one point I heard the sound of thunder and I started freaking out because I don't like storms. after a while of roaming the forest I then looked to see a tower that was in a village and I quickly ran over. when I arrived at first I was relieved but then I wondered where am i. and I had decided to ask someone where I was. I then looked to see what looked like a large building with a telescope on the roof. but the it started raining and i quickly ran up the stairs and went and knocked on the door.

purah pov

I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door and got curious.

purah: who could that be?

I then got up from my bed and went and opened the door and I was greeted by a little boy standing there shivering and I got concerned.

purah: (why is a little boy out here in the rain all alone?) whats your name little one?

Y/N: I-im Y/N... where am I?

Purah: well my name is purah and your in lookout landing. why are you out here all alone?

Y/N: I-i... got lost.

purah: come inside and get out of the rain.

Y/N: o-okay.

I then led the little boy inside and he sat down on my bed and I went over to my cupboard and found a jar of milk and took out a cup. I then uncork the bottle and fill the cup halfway with milk. I then went over to Y/N and handed him the cup.

purah: here drink this.

Y/N: o-okay.

he then started drinking it and I sat down on a chair.

purah: tell me little one. why were you out there all alone?

Y/N: I wandered around the forest and I was lost until I found this place.

purah: are your parents looking for you?

Y/N: o-oh I-i... don't have any parents...

when I heard him say that I immediately was shocked that he lost his parents. but at one point he started crying and he reached for me like he wanted a hug. I then gently wrapped my arms around him and he seemed more comforted.

Y/N: *sigh* so warm and comfortable.

purah: it's okay Y/N I promise I'll take good care of you.

Y/N: really?

purah: yes I promise.

Y/N: thank you mommy.

purah: wait... did you call me mommy?

Y/N: yes... *yawn* can I call you mommy?

purah: of course sweetie.

I then laid him on my bed and got into bed with him and put the blanket over and cuddled him and he felt more comforted and fell asleep.

purah: good night little one.

Y/N: good night mommy.

Y/N pov

I then fell asleep in my mothers warm embrace.
