I'm in a field surrounded but beautiful purple and pink flowers, with the sun shining on my face. I'm wearing a white flowy dress and my hair is down in waves. It's times like this when I can finally relax and have a happy dream, a dream that makes me feel like I'm still alive and carefree, with no fear or worry in the world, like I'm not trapped in my own hell. You see I live in the year 2048 and I'm in prison, not only am I in prison but I'm in what they call solitary confinement, in this day in age when you're put in solitary confinement they make you sleep the entire time you have to be in there, sure that may seem light but no, a long time ago a serum was created that gave you terrible night terrors and it would bring out every fear you have or have ever had. It's torturous but when Caleb, my Caleb, is my guard for the entire day he gives me the good dreams, the ones where I'm happy and carefree and don't have a worry in the world.
Arms snake around my waist and Caleb kisses my neck."What are you thinking about baby?" He asks.
"That I don't want to wake up from the dream, I just want to stay here in your arms forever." He turns my around and kisses me and I sigh because the only time I feel some sort of happiness is in his arms and when he kisses me, he takes away the darkness, he's the light to my darkness, the sun to my rain.
"It'll be okay, I promise, Just always remember that I love you and I'll be waiting for you when you wake up." He says. I can see him start to blur and fade and I know the dream is going away.
When I wake up I have to scream to make it seem like it was a nightmare. My Caleb comes in smiling and I smile back, he comes over and kisses me.
"Have a good dream baby?"
I smile "Yes I did." I say.
"I have to put you back to sleep i thirty minutes, it's time for you to eat. What would you like?" He asks. Caleb is a very handsome man, with sleeve tattoos, a lip ring, eyebrow ring, and small gauges in his ears. One thing I love about him is that he is the sweetest person I have ever met and does a lot for me.
"I don't mind. Surprise me." I say with excitement. He chuckles. He stands up and kisses me on the forehead.
"I'll be back soon." He says. My Caleb...
