THOUGHTS AND FIRST DAYS

RATHORE MANSION

It was the next morning of the party and the whole family was sitting in their garden and talking. This was their daily routine, sitting in the garden for some time while drinking tea.

Everyone was pretty exhausted from the party, so as soon as all the guests left from the party, all of them directly went to sleep, and now they were freshened up after a good night's sleep.

One of them however, was not really freshened up as he couldn't sleep at all last night.

That was none other than Reyansh.

Whole night his thoughts were plagued by a brown-eyed angel, who had done some kind of magic on him, and now he couldn't forget about her.

He was currently having his coffee, as he needed as much energy as possible to get through the day, as he had not slept even a little the whole night.

After wishing everyone, he left for his office as he did not like late people and he himself was very punctual about everything. He asked Aditya to be there on time too, who assured him that he would be there soon.

"Main kuch soch rahi thi..." Lakshmi suddenly said getting everyone's attention.

(I was thinking something...)

"What??" her husband, Shivansh asked.

"Reyansh ki ab shaadi ki umar ho gayi hai. Hame uske liye ek acchi si ladki dhoondni chahiye." she smiled.

(Reyansh is of the age of marriage now. We should look for a nice girl for him.)

"Aap baat to sahi keh rahi hai maa. Lekin aapko to pata hai na ki ham jab bhi usse shaadi ki baat karte hai, vo mana kar deta hai." Karthik sighed.

(You are right mom. But you know right that whenever we bring the topic of marriage, he refuses.)

"Vo sab to theek hai Karthik, lekin ham usse bade hai. Uski bhalayi ke bare mein hi kahenge na. Kab tak mana karega vo??" Lakshmi shook her head disapprovingly.

(That all is fine Karthik, but we are his elders. We only want his good. Till how long will he say no??)

"Ham samajh rahe hai aapki baat maa, lekin ham usse zabardasti to nahi kar sakte na!!" Rudra tried to reason with her.

(We are understanding you mom, but we can't force him right!!)

"Hame kuch nahi pata. Pehle ham uski baat isliye maan lete the ki abhi uski umar itni nahi hai, lekin ab shaadi nahi karega to kya budape mein karega??" Lakshmi said sarcastically.

(I don't know anything. I used to listen to him before as he was still young at that time, but if he doesn't get married now, will he marry when he is old age??)

None of them said anything knowing she was right. It was the right age for him to get married!!
All of them had even had kids by this age in their time!!

On the other hand, the youngsters were completely enjoying this!!
It was no secret that even they wanted a sister-in-law. Someone who could take their stand in front of their brother!!
They desperately wanted someone who had power over him as well.

"Aap sabka kya kehna hai isske baare mein??" Karthik asked the rest of his family.

(What do you all have to say about this matter??)

"Mujhe to bahut time se ek acchi si bahu chahiye apne bete ke liye. Jo usko sambhal sake." Divya said excitedly.

(I have wanted a nice bride for my son for a long time. Someone who can handle him.)
