Chapter 12

Jon POV:

Today was the day. . . . today was the day I'm going to ask Chris to marry me! We both had the day off and decided to actually enjoy the park. How would I ask the question? Would I get on one knee? Should I just ask him straight on? What should I do?!

I had to admit that Chris definitely looked good today. What am I saying? He looks good any day of the week! Although he was dressed rather nicely with jeans, a blue shirt and a flannel over it for some classes. Me on the other hand had on jeans and a simple green shirt.

"Jon! Let's go on the rollercoaster!" Hearing Chris say that I knew today was going to be fun. The line wasn't too long so we stood there waiting.

"Chris you sure this is the first one you want to go on? Bit much for a first ride here as a customer then employees." I asked not wanting Chris to bite off more than he could chew.

Looking me dead in the eyes I know Chris was serious."Jon I haven't been on one for years! Besides it's fun, fast, and exciting!"

Smiling again I looked ahead."I could show you something like that in the bedroom." After heading this Chris just looked at me with a red face. He was always cute when blushing. Soon it was our turn to ride the rollercoaster, both in the front ready. Soon the ride started as we both of us held on to the safety bar.

Halfway through the ride we soon came to the drop. Now at the top I thought maybe now would be the best time to ask. That was until we moved forward again as the rollercoaster rushed forward.

"This is amazing!" I heard Chris yell as I could only scream. I wasn't ready for the drop so it scared the hell out of me! When the ride was over I was embarrassed to admit that Chris had to help me to a nearby bench.

"Maybe we should do some slower rides?" Chris offered as I only gave a thumbs up. God I love this man!

No One POV:

Chris and Jon soon went on multiple rides that day along with playing some games as well. The best part was not many people knew Jon was the owner, so he could act normal for once. Sometimes he wished that this was permanent, but nothing was permanent.

"Jon I'm going to get something to drink, Want anything?" Chris asked as Jon thought for a moment.
"I'll take a coke, and sometimes to eat if they have anything. I'll pay you back for the food!" Chris giving the thumbs up ran off.

"You seem to be having fun." Jon jumped a bit to see it was Davis talking. Didn't even know that he was there! "Yeah I'm having fun with him. I love him enough I want to pop the question but. . . "

Davis sighed before face palming."I see you need a little help. I'll get something set up you get him to the middle of the park."

Jon was puzzled but realized what Davis meant. Watching as Davis walked off Jon just needed to be ready to ask the question. Soon Chris came back with some food and drinks for both of them!"I got us both some drinks and fries to share! They sadly ran out of ketchup..."

"That's fine. After we eat I need to show you something. I think you'll like it!" Chris eyes seem to shine from excitement knowing there was cool to see. Soon both of them finished eating as Jon got the text from Davis. It was ready! What did he have planned? No idea!

Soon after leading Chris to the middle of the park near the fountain, Jon realized what Davis did. Davis had this planned before Jon even admitted he was having trouble! To the side was a camera man ready as Davis held a microphone.

Jon knew it was time. Getting on one knee Jon smiled holding a box. Chris looked surprised before realizing what Jon was about to ask.

"Chris you came into my life like a dream coming true. Each day my life has been happier with you. I want to be with you forever when it comes to that joy. Chris, will you marry me?"

Chris eyes watered as he smiled. This was actually happening right? Not a dream? The tears were real, the day was real, this was all happening!!"Yes! Yes Jon!" Before Jon could say anything Chris kissed him. The two of them now locked together in a long loving kiss.

Davis was happy as the camera next to him broadcast the moment to the whole park. The speakers room coming in,"I'd like to congratulate the park owner Jon on his engagement to his new fiance Chris!"

Throughout the park people cheered for the two of them. The animatronics joining in as well!

Chris soon took Jon by the hand before walking away with him."Chris? Is something wrong?"

"No! Just want to ride a different rollercoaster this time. If you know what I mean!"

Jon soon saw the hotel as he realized what Chris meant. The blush on his face now visible as day.
