You smile at his words "Hey come, i'll show you something" You say as you grab Diluc's hand and pulled him towards an abandoned building and climbed on the stairs in the side until you reach the rooftop. You could see a beautiful view, the lights coming from the windows of apartments, houses, stores, and the sky is just filled with stars.

Diluc was Intrigued by what you had to show him, and as always, followed you. Now, you were on top of a building, and Diluc saw a beautiful, serene view. "What a sight.." He said as he admired the view. It was peaceful, with every structure illuminated, but not being a distraction.

"You've always brought me to the most extraordinary places," Diluc said, looking at you with a smile.

"Mhm, places like these are so pretty, the ones that aren't so popular and the ones that are quiet. You can just sit here and look at the view every night.... I love it.." You say as you look out into the view.

"I agree," Diluc nodded. "Places like these are perfect for those who enjoy solitude and serenity. It's away from the noise, and it's a calm and relaxing view. I'm glad I got to experience this with you tonight." He was being honest with his words. Diluc wasn't annoyed anymore, in fact, he enjoyed your presence. At this time, he just wanted more time with you, and not just for catching you.

"Me too" you say quietly as you lean on the parapet of the rooftop. Diluc remained to admire the peaceful night sky and view. He was slowly getting used to your company. He felt fond of you, and your teasing banter with him.. It made him feel closer to you. Suddenly he held your hand. Even with the moon illuminating the surroundings, you felt the warmth of Diluc's grasp.

As he held your hand, you weren't really bothered by it so you just let him do what he wanted and held his hand back, intertwining your fingers together. Diluc then squeezed your hand, he was being more open, and this felt like a romantic moment between you two.

He felt a special connection with you, and was no longer annoyed by your teasing. Instead, he enjoyed it. Diluc was starting to develop a strong desire for you, and it was evident in his eyes and actions. "You know, I wonder what I should steal next" you suddenly spoke and then paused for a moment thinking of something...

"Maybe I can steal you instead?" You say with a wink.

Diluc chuckled back at your flirty remark. He felt a strong romantic attraction for you, and this moment was perfect for the two of you.

"Oh is that so?" he replied, playing along with you. "And how exactly are you going to do that?" He said with a smirk as he continued holding your hand.

"Oh no no I can't tell you, a criminal never reveals their secret, I just wait for the perfect moment and that's when I strike, and I do it without hesitation.. maybe you should just wait and see?" You say playfully. 

Diluc laughed when you called yourself a criminal. You had stolen his heart once again, and Diluc seemed to be enjoying it. "I see, I'll let you keep your secrets for now." he said. "Just know I always let you be because I have a thing for criminals such as yourself," he teased, looking at you with a sly grin. His eyes weren't filled with annoyance, but rather fascination and desire. 

You chuckle at his remarks as you once again look up in the sky and notice it was slowly getting brighter and it was almost morning. "Thanks again for spending time here with me Diluc, I really enjoyed being here with you, but sadly I have to go back to my place, I don't want to end up caught by other knights you know?" You say as you stood back up straight again. 

But before you could walk away Diluc grabbed you by the arm and pulled you back towards him. "well umm.. before you go, I would like to steal something from you." He said looking into your eyes as he caressed your cheek. "May I steal a kiss from you, my thief?" He finally asked, as didn't want to deny his feelings for you anymore. 

You were at first speechless by his question, you didn't know how to react.. but you knew too well that you felt the same way about him and didn't want to waste this moment, so you end up nodding back and accepting the kiss, because in reality, who were you to say no to this request? 

With your reply Diluc smiled and leaned closer to you before closing his eyes and finally giving you a soft kiss on the lips. It felt like a dream, and as you two finally parted, he lets out a small sigh. "How could I resist you?" He said playfully. 

"Looks like I have stolen you already~" You say in a teasing manner. "Looks like I've fallen for your charms," Diluc replied. "I have to say, you're more irresistible than any painting," he said with a smile. "You've managed to steal my heart tonight."

"Mhm, its been nice spending time with you... maybe I can see you around? you might just see me walking around mondstadt streets in my more 'casual' self and less of my criminal appearance" you say chuckling.

"I'll keep an eye out for you then, my thief." Diluc replied as he caressed your shoulder. "Just know that you can't hide from me." He then said before looking around and walking back to the ladder. "The sun is almost rising. I should be getting back at Angel's Share now."

You give him a nod. "well, its been nice spending time with you, see you again Diluc" You say with a small smile. "It has been a pleasure to spend the time with you...Until next time." Diluc said.

He was about to head down the stairs but then he had to get another glace at you and gave you a wave. "See you again, my thief."

He didn't know when they would see each other again, as his thief had completely disappeared now. He still couldn't believe he was in love with a notorious thief.
