MAEHWA POV:

Things were finally starting to feel normal again, as my period trekked into its final days the pain inside seemed to up and disappear. Though I was happy, I couldn't help but fear what would happen next, after everyone sees that I'm better, what will become of me?

The uneasy feeling that I didn't belong here boiled in my gutt every day, even though everything in me screamed that I was meant to stay here.

I had hoped that maybe if they still pitied me, I'd be allowed to stay. That's why I still insisted to myself that I walk with a slight limp, even though I didn't need to.

I really didn't want to lie to them, and I sort of hate myself for deceiving them all this way. But, I'm just so scared of losing them.

I mean, It still kind of hurts if I walk for too long, or if I try to run, so it's not 100% a lie. Also, I have to admit, it was easy to become addicted to the way they would all run to me whenever they saw me struggling. To have them insist on picking me up, not letting my feet even touch the ground once.

So, that's why it became so easy to lie to them... but still, I hated it.

"Morning Mae mae!" an excited voice sprung me from my sleep, and even though I loved that voice, I couldn't help but groan.

"Oh, come on Mae mae! Don't make that noise! We're gunna have a fun time today." I could feel the presence of the enthusiastic tiger as he sat down on the side of my bed with a thud. Before a soft chuckle was humming from his lips, no doubt caused by the sight of the stuffed tiger toy in my arms. "Come on Mae mae, Tennie can't have all your cuddles... I want some too."

His voice turned soft as I felt him leaning down so that his head could start nuzzling my arms. His ears flicked at my nose, evilly tickling me in a mean attempt to wake me up.

All I did was groan louder.

"Where is she and why is she not up yet!?" a loud, strict voice faking irritation strutted into the room with a pout on his lips and a frown in his eyebrows.

I dared to take a peek up at the wild coyote, who was simply dressed in an oversized black t-shirt and black pants. His hair was puffy and untamed, looking as if he had only woken up mere moments ago as well.

"She's being naughty." Taehyung tutted as he stroked over my head and I instantly frowned at the description.

"Oh, I see." Jungkook smirked, putting his hands in his pocket as he observed my creased back ears. "Well then, if she wants to sleep I guess she'll miss out on the pancakes..."

I couldn't help it when my ears twitched.

"Oh you mean the pancakes covered in chocolate and strawberries?" Taehyung smiled, playing along, making my tail flick with want.

"Well, if she doesn't want any, I guess we'll just have to eat them all." Jungkook shrugged, already turning to leave the room before I let out a loud groan and sat up.

"Uhhh fine." I huffed, eyes cracking open to pout at them. "I'll get up."

"Good girl Mae mae." Jungkook turned back to say before leaning down and patting my head. "Come on, hop on." I looked up once again to see Jungkook turning around and squatting, offering me his back to climb onto.
