Xander was strolling down the hallway of his office building checking on the new hires.
He was greeted with hi's and hello's from several of the employees.
As he walked past the cubicles... he saw photos of his co-workers families... happy kids with smiling faces and photos of family vacations or individual accomplishments that the kids had achieved.
As Xander left the office area and got into the elevator.... He was having thoughts...
He tried to remember a happy time with his own parents and family....
He really didn't have much of a childhood because his parents had died when he was young and he had to be raised by his aunt and uncle... which was ok for him.... But he still didn't feel close to or had any friends.....
It made him feel sad and lonely at times...
He walked into his office and checked his email seeing that the company wanted him to go check some of other branches of the company....
The trip would take all Summer...
Which he was kinda happy about.....
He finished his work for the day and headed to his apartment.....
His work vacation was starting tomorrow and he had to pack for the whole summer.....
