It had been several years since the "good times" and it was mentally taking a toll on you. Those times where your body was fine and never had any pain on a constant basis, but that could never happen with you. Doctors all around try to find out what was wrong with you, but could never. You were referred to Shinobu by Dr. Raisf in your village, once you got the her Butterfly Estate. A small girl answered the door. 

"Hello, I'm L/N Y/N. I'm here to see Miss Shinobu." You said and the small girl grabbed your hand and brought you inside and sat you down in a chair. The chair was comfortable but your mind was on something else. 'What makes her special that I have to travel so far to get checked up by her.' 

It was clear that she was super busy with treating demon slayers but still remained to be able to check up on people with specific illnesses. It was a side job of hers to help those with weird illnesses and you were one of those cases. You heard walking and then there was Shinobu. A women with black hair that faded into purple, her purple eyes and fair skin made it look like she came straight out of a movie. She didn't look real, she looked like a doll. 

"Hello L/N, please come into my office." Shinobu said and you got up and wince for a moment, then proceeded to walk to her office. Her office was modern and clean, there were some butterflies that were flying around the room. 

"Are those butterflies actually real?"

"Why yes they are. Aren't they beautiful?"

"They seem so free from the world and it's problems."

"A very different way of looking at it." Shinobu said as she started to look at your folder. "L/N, I'm going to need your full attention before you get distracted by the butterflies again." You looked towards Shinobu. "So your condition leaves you to be in constant pain and bleeds every so often?" 

"Yes, most of the time I take some medication that helps with the blood not the pain."

"Is the pain constant or like surges?"

"Both, I'm in constant pain and every 15 minutes it becomes very painful for a few seconds at best."

"I see, very odd. Well I would like to keep you here for about 3 days to do some test on you and after the 3 days of test, I'll keep you here for about a week or so to see if any medication I give you will help you. Does that sound alright?"

"Yes, anything to help me with this." 

These next few days were horrible. A small girl, by the name of Aoi, would run those test and give you pain medication until the unfortunate happened.

You started to bleed heavily from your eyes and mouth, Aoi started to freak out and tried to clean up most of the blood. 

"I totally forgot you bleed a lot."

"I'm dearly sorry Aoi." You said as you tried to clean yourself up. 

"It's fine L/N. It feels like you need a warning at some points. I saw you bleed in your sleep!" Aoi screamed at the ending, making sure you got her point. 

"Sorry about it, I don't have control about that." You said while acting all nervous. Aoi finished cleaning up and gave you some fresh clothes, you left for a moment to change. Shinobu came out to tell Aoi a possible outcome and to tell me that she had made a possible cure to help me. The week of just testing the medication was going to start.
