Jamie

Callie had called all the others to tell them we were getting married.

I had called Mom, Dad, and Carter.

She had told Eliza when she told Brandon.

Robert

I arrived at Lena and Stef's house in Sacramento.

Callie and Jamie were getting pictures together.

Callie

Mom clanked a knife against her Wine glass.

"Everyone, everyone. Just— Thank you."

We all gave her our attention.

"Um... Lena and I would like to thank all of you for coming tonight I help us celebrate our recent College grads, Jude and Carter."

Everybody clapped.

"We would also like to congratulate Jesus on getting his contractor license."

We all clapped.

"He and his bio father, Gabe have started a custom tree house building business. So, if any of you are in the market..." Lena told them.

"We just got business cards actually. And it's called "Out on a Limb."

All of us laughed.

"Nice!"

"And last but not least, we are celebrating Callie and Jamie tonight... Who in less than a week are getting married."

Jamie wrapped his arm around Callie.

"Yes!" Jesus cheered.

All of us cheered and clapped.

"Standing ovation, I guess."

He stood up.

"Standing ovation from Jesus alone."

I laughed.

"Um.... We are also very excited about the destination Wedding at Pop Century resort in Disneyworld. Courtesy of Jim, Diane, and Robert."

"Our pleasure."

"Uh.... We want to welcome Jamie's brother, Carter."

All of us clapped.

"And I don't think that everyone knows our foster daughter, Kamaya."

"Hi!"

"So, we also thought this would be a great chance for all of our friends and families to get to know each other better."

"It's kind of crazy that our kids have been dating for two years and we barely know each other. Not for lack of trying."

"Oh. That's on us. We've.... We've been so busy traveling with Jim's projects...."

"Yeah."

"All over the world. We're barely even been on this continent."

Jim chuckled nervously.

"Well, we, uh.... We will have lots of time to bond at the Wedding."

"Yeah."

"Um... So, here's to our—"

Jesus spit the salad out of his mouth.

Kamaya laughed.

He was play fighting with her.

"Here's to all of us and the blending of our two families. Again."

"Hear, hear."

"Cheers."
