Chapter 2;~The Incident~

~Lunchtime~

"Oh my gorsh, those periods flew as slow as a tortoise would move." May said to Yamuto as they walked down the hall heading to the cafeteria.

"Yeah i know." He then said.

"Sooo..tell me about yourself cutie." Yamuto said. May looked down and blushed hoping he didn't see.

"Oh and i saw that you know! You can't hide anything from me" He said with a grin.

"Umm anyways, My name is May Satubana. I'm 17 years. I'm 5'4. I live 15 minutes away from this school now. I moved here recently because my mum got a new job. I'm not into popularity and wants nothing to do with anyone who is a part of it." May told Yamuto. He then began thinking all sorts of stuff. What if she pushed me away because i'm popular. What if she doesn't feel how i feel. What if i don't get a chance.

May then asked the same question to him.

"I'm Yamuto Harris. I'm 17 years. I'm 5'8. I live in the city side. I like girls who are smart, independent and different." Yamuto told her. She turned and smiled at him which only made his heart tickle.

Is he the one? May thought.

As they entered the cafeteria, everyone turned their attention to them. May glimpsed a little at Yamuto who was looking downward. She then looked back up and just let go of the thought that they were being stared at. They got their lunch and headed for a table.

"So, where we sitting? Cause here seems full" she said.

"Well umm..*cough* I have a table reserved. You can meet my friends too..If that's fine?" He replied.

"Yeah, sure." she said in an under tone.

Sitting at the table, all eyes turned to May.

"Hi, I'm Lee and you are?" one girl said.

"Hi, I'm May Satubana but call me May" she replied.

"I'm China, Heyy" another girl said.

"I'm Troy" one boy said.

Everyone then turned their attention off her except Randy, Yamuto's best friend.

"Dude, stop staring!" Yamuto said in a slightly high tone.

"Well it's not my fault your girlfriend isn't nice man." Randy said. May looked up, tears already boiling up, she got up and ran straight outside the school.

"You're an ass for saying that!" Yamuto yelled while getting up to chase May. He ran outside and searched but couldn't find her. He ran to the side of the school and in a corner she curled up in a ball crying. He ran towards her, held her up and hugged her as tight as he can while saying," I'm so sorry May. I'm sorry. Please stop crying." She tucked into his neck and sobbed even more. He took his hand and raised her head so that she's facing him. They were really close. The closeness of them had him tempted to kiss her but he know it was a bad time and it's too soon for that. After raising her head, he kissed her forehead and apologized again while wiping her tears. She just stood observing his every movement.

"You want to go to my place?" he asked.

"Yea sure but promise, no funny business" she said in a sad tone.

"Wasn't even thinking about that cutie but come on." he said with his best smile.
