Y/n was coming today and ngl I was so excited, y/n and I have been best friends since we were little, sure I was definitely close with Steven and Belly, but her and I were like the same person.

I prepared the guest room for her, bought her favorite soaps and put it in the bathroom, and got her her favorite muffins before she got here.

"They're here!" I soon as I heard my mom I ran downstairs as fast as I could

"Calm down Connie, it's not a race"

I went outside and greeted Laurel, Steven, and Belly, but I saw no y/n

"Where's y/n"
 
"Right here" I turned around and saw her big smile, I was grinning ear to ear.It was like she just became more and more beautiful over the summer, with her dark curls and brown and pink lips, I missed her so much.

I picked her up and her up and spun her around

"Conrad let me down"she said laughing

I set her down just to stare her down, our staring contest was interrupted by Steven

"I think it's time for a "Belly flop!"

Steven and Jeremiah chased her down and got her into the pool, beside me was y/n giggling

"You're part of it too y/n"

"What do you mean"

I lifted her over my shoulder as she kept punching my back telling me to put her down and so I did

"CONRAD I SAID TO PUT ME DOWN, NOT TO THROW ME INTO THE POOL" I laughed at her, it lowkey turned me on when she was mad at me

"Come on Con, help me out" I let out a hand but she swiftly pulled me in

"Y/n, your so dead"

I chased her around the pool and she ran out and I followed her into the house

"Y/n, your soaking wet, I thought it was just belly getting wet?" Laurel said

"Well CONRAD had other plans" she side eyed me really hard and walked upstairs

Y/n's pov/

The only reason I was mad at Conrad was because I had just gotten my hair done before we left, but at the same time it was funny

I was drying my hair with a towel when I heard a knock on my door

"Who is it"

"It's Conrad"

"Ugh, come in"

"Sorry y/n, I didn't think you would be so angry with me, I never meant to make you-"

"Conrad it's okay, I was just playing with you, don't take everything to heart"

I saw him relax better as he just looked at me

"What, do I have something on me" I was looking touching my face to see if I could feel what he was looking at

He leaned in and kissed me, I was in shock and didn't kiss him back, I kind of regret it tho

"I'm so sorry, it's just- I've had a crush on you for the longest and I just thought-"

I kissed him so he could stop rambling, my hand was on his torso as the other was on the back of his neck to deepen the kiss

Both of his hands were on my waist

He pulled apart

"Woah"

"Ive always wanted to do that"

"Yeah, me too"

He leaned in again but was interrupted by Jeremiah

"Hey Conrad, we gotta go to the Bonfire"

"Just wait for me in the car, and knock next time she could've been changing"

"My bad, y/n are you coming?"

"Nah, I'm really tired from moving stuff out, I think I'll just home"

"Suit yourself" He hugged me and then left

"Are you sure you don't wanna come"

"I'm sure con"

I stood on my tippy toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek

"Don't do dumb shit, don't get drunk, and don't go slutting off"

He smiled at me and kissed my head and left
