I clutched my books as I walked into the huge high school. Today is my first day at my new school. Washington is completely different from Florida. It's October so it's already getting chilly out side and the leaves on the trees have changed, unlike Florida. I walk into the registration office and ask the lady at the front desk for my schedule."Name?"
"Stella"
"Okay class just started so go on to your first class."
I nodded and headed to History. I took a deep breath as I walked in the classroom and all eyes were on me, as I walked up to the teacher.
"New student?"
"Yes ma'am"
"Okay, you can take the desk in the back next to Mr. Hemmings."As I was making my way to the back, a couple of boys whistled "hey girl what's your name?"
I just smiled and told them trouble.
I sat down in an empty seat, in the back next to a blonde kid with a lip piercing.
As the class went on I couldn't help but glance at him every so often. He looked so intent listening to the lesson. I tried not to stare but something about him was different. And I like that.

I walked into the huge cafeteria, and headed to the food line. As I was waiting in line, the blonde from my History class got in line behind me.
"Hey I like your Cobain shirt."
"Thanks." I smile.
"Your new right? You can come sit with my friends and I if you want." He smiled.
"Sure, I'll join you guys."We paid for the nasty cafeteria food and the blonde lead me to a table with three other boys.
They were loud and fun to hang out with. They were even in a band together. The bell rang and we all got up. "I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow." I smiled.
As I started to walk away someone called me.
"Wait!"
I turned around to see the blonde still standing near the empty table.
"What's your name?"
"Stella."
"Like the beer?" He smirked.
"Yeah, like the beer." I laugh.
"I'm Luke."
