4) Talks and Threats

Lizzie also found someone to confide in whenever she was with Y/N. Just having someone to talk to about her week, unlike what she had with Robbie. She would find herself somedays laying in his arms, just talking.

"We're going on tour soon." Y/N informed her, her heart dropped at the idea of not seeing Y/N often.

"That's good." She tried to sound happy for him.

"You don't sound to happy about it." He stated as he caressed her collarbone.

"I know I shouldn't feel like this but." She took a deep breath before continuing. "I am just going to miss you so fucking much." She whispered.

"Me or the sex?" He asked her as she giggled at his words.

"You." She told him. "I know we said no feelings but." She turned to face him. "I think I am falling for you." There was a comfortable silence after her confession as Y/N caressed her cheek as he gazed into her eyes with a gentle smile.

"I think I am falling for you too Elizabeth." He told her with confidence, making Lizzie blush under his intense gaze as she pressed her lips to his in an urgent kiss. Straddling his lap as the kiss deepened. Only to break apart as they heard a key in the door. Lizzie darting to the bathroom and locking herself inside as Scarlett let herself in.

"Hey baby." She smiled at her son as he gave her a nervous smile.

"What are you doing here?" He asked her as she smiled at him.

"I have an interview and some meetings so I thought I would drop by." She told him. "Have you eaten?" She asked as she looked in his fridge and cupboard. "When was the last time you had a home cooked meal?"

"Since before I moved in here." He told her as she scoffed, grabbing her bag.

"I'm going to the store, maybe I'll text Lizzie for one of her famous recipes." Scarlett stated as Y/N just nodded. Watching as his mom left and Lizzie came into view.

"That was so close." Y/N whispered as he approached Lizzie as her phone went.

"She's asking me over for dinner?" Lizzie questioned him as he sighed.

"It's up to you Liz." He rubbed her arms up and down.

"I think I need to pass on this one." Lizzie told him as she gazed into his eyes. "When do you leave on tour?"

"In a couple of weeks." He told her sadly. "But it's only a few months. Maybe I can get you a ticket and backstage pass for the LA gig?"

"I would love that." She leaned up and kissed him softly before she grabbed her things. "I will text you later." She told him as he walked to the door.

"See you later Lizzie." He smiled as he watched her leave. Closing the door and releasing a breath as he leaned against it. It is starting to get risky, especially with his mom having a key.

Once Lizzie made it home, she saw Robbie and Graham passed out on the sofa, scoffing as she made her way to the kitchen, to find Marlana sat at the island.

"So, how is he?" She questioned Lizzie who just whipped her head around.

"Who?" She questioned.

"Y/N. Scarlett's son." Marlane spoke with a raised brow and a smirk. "Robbie told us that he is in a band and just moved here to LA."

"He's settling in just fine." Lizzie told her as she started to wash some fruit and vegetables.

"You do know that if you ever cheat on my closest friend, I will kill you." She snarled before Robbie entered the kitchen, rubbing his eyes.

"I didn't know you were home baby." He smiled at his wife as she prepared the dinner.

"I just arrived Robbie." Lizzie smiled at him. Allowing him to wrap his arms around her as she chopped the vegetables. Although she hated the feeling of her husband's body so close to hers but she needed to be careful, especially with Marlana watching her like a hawk.

"I'm back sweetie!" Scarlett called out as she entered Y/N's apartment. Y/N smiled as he came from his room, freshly showered.

"So what are we making?" He asked her.

"Smoked salmon salad." She told him. "Also I asked Lizzie if she wanted to have dinner with us but she said she was busy." She told him as he nodded with a smile. "So it is just you and me." She told him as he smiled at her.

"How are Rose and Cosmo?" He asked her as he helped her prepare the salad.

"They are doing well. Rose won her first spelling bee." Scarlett told him excitedly. "And Cosmo reminds me so much of you when you were a baby."

"I was thinking maybe I should visit when I am in New York." He told her with a smile. "Especially since we have a gig there and I miss the two of them too."

"That would be nice." Scarlett smiled at her eldest. "Maybe we can even book a holiday too. The five of us."

"That would be fun." He agreed with her as she tried to reach to reach for a pan. Y/N smiled and reached for it for her making her shake her head. The two carried on with the cooking together, just like they used to when he was younger.

"So, do you have a special lady in your life?" She questioned out of the blue, Y/N's eyes widening.

"No." He laughed at her question. "Why do you ask?"

"You seem happier than usual." She stated as he just nodded.

"Well, there isn't anyone." He told her softly. "And if there was, you would be second to know."

"Why second?" She questioned.

"I'd have to tell my best girl first." He nudged her making her chuckle at the mention of his younger sister as she poached the salmon.
