Atlas

New state, new show! In New Jersey tonight, it's gonna be epic! Emma says it's gonna be huge with lots of people and we have a surprise in store for them!

I'm usually the one who writes our songs, but for this one, I really wanted it to be amazing! Like, really, really good! Lately, we've been practicing a ton and haven't been hanging out with the girls as much. But after this show, we've made plans to spend time with them, have fun, and explore new places.

Traveling is like a dream come true. Trying out new food, visiting famous landmarks, and creating memories that last a lifetime. But ever since I became the guardian of Juliette, I've been toning down my travels. I want her to have a stable life, go to school, and make friends. a huge help. Their support means the world to me!

Emma understands everything I've been through, including my family situation and how important Juliette is to me. I took this tour as a big opportunity, but I made sure Juliette could continue her education online so she doesn't miss out on anything. I know it's not the same as being physically present, but I'm trying my best. This trip might be one of the last for a while because I haven't been making time for my sister either, and I really want to be there for her. She's always there, watching me closely, and I make sure to dedicate my songs to her because I love her immensely!

As I pace around my dressing room, I reflect on the song I created, pouring my heart into every lyric.

You're my favourite.

That's what it's called. It's for her.

Remembering the past hurts me too. I never knew she heard those words I said. I never knew that was the reason she hated me.

I'm such a jerk.

Imagine I didn't say that though...

Would it be different for us. Would our story be different. Would we be together? Would we be happy?

Shaking those thoughts out of my head I grab the hard candy and suck on it.

Damn!

It reminds me of her...

"Atlas, we're ready. Are you?" Axel shouts

"Yeh yeh!" I reply

Rushing out the door I grab my signature leather jacket and put it on whilst closing the door.

Gazing over, I notice Michaela here.

Good!

She hasn't been coming out recently. Which is understandable but I need her tonight. I need to say sorry.

Flawless came just in time and we all walk backstage.

We walk to the stage and adrenaline fills within me. Hundreds of thousands of people gazing over at us.

We start off with our song with Flawless.

The crowd is wild, adrenaline is pumping, sweat is beading down my face and our performance is unstoppable.

As Flawless is leaving the stage we get ready for our new song.

"THIS SONG IS FOR JULIETTE AND GRACE!" I scream in the microphone

I glance at Michaela and notice a look of surprise plastered across her face, but I don't think I won her over, just yet.

But I know this song will fix things.

Hopefully.

"This song is called you're my favourite, a new song we've been working on!"

Then I start.

I look over to her and see her face redden with blush.

As I stroll backstage, I spot everyone, including Michaela. The whole crew congratulates us, and I make my way to my dressing room. Taking a seat, I suddenly hear the sound of my door opening.

I can smell her scent.

Standing up I see Michaela.

"That song?" She asks

"I wrote it for you." I reply

"I'm your favourite? What does that mean? Your favourite hook up, favourite groupie?" She asks crossing her arms

"Don't you get it? You're my favourite girl!" I reply

I get on my knees and grab her hand.

"I'm so sorry! I was a jerk back then. I was an idiot! Please forgive me."

I start kissing her hand.

Glancing over, I see a faint smile on her face.

"I forgive you!" She replies

I stand up and hug her, tightly.

"I knew I could easily get you to blush!" I whisper

She playfully pushed me away and smiled, hard.

"Let's start over, just as friends." I say to her

This situation between Michaela and I reminded me of something.

That I can't betray my friends.

Michaela and I can only be friends.

Nothing else!

Just friends.

And I'll keep it that way!
