As they chatted and laughed together, the TV in the corner of the cafeteria caught their attention. The news anchor's serious voice filled the room as they reported a chilling story.

"Breaking news: A wanted psycho has murdered a young girl, and her body has been found in the Han River. The victim was a student at Yeonsei University. The police are urging everyone to be cautious and report any suspicious activity."

The atmosphere in the cafeteria immediately shifted. Fear spread like wildfire among the students, and an uneasy silence replaced the usual buzz of conversations. Yn and Bangchan exchanged concerned glances as they listened to the grim details of the brutal murder. The Han River, once a symbol of tranquility and beauty, now seemed tainted by a dark presence.

Yn whispered to Bangchan, "That's terrible. I hope they catch that psycho soon."

Bangchan nodded, "Yeah, it's horrifying. Let's be careful and avoid going near the river until they catch the culprit."

As the day continued, the news of the murder continued to haunt everyone on campus. Rumors spread like wildfire, and fear gripped the hearts of the students. The university administration increased security measures and urged students to stay vigilant.

Yn and Bangchan couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as they attended their classes, each interaction tinged with an underlying sense of fear. Even in the broad daylight, shadows seemed to lurk around every corner.

After a long day of lectures and assignments, the final bell rang, signaling the end of classes. Students hurriedly packed their bags, eager to leave the campus and retreat to the perceived safety of their homes. Yn and Bangchan walked side by side, both lost in their thoughts, processing the unsettling news.

Bangchan broke the silence, "You know, it's moments like these that make you realize how fragile life can be. We must appreciate every moment and cherish the people around us."

Yn nodded in agreement, "Absolutely. It's a reminder to stay cautious and not take things for granted. Let's make sure we look out for each other, okay?"

Bangchan smiled, "Definitely. We'll stick together and be each other's support. Safety in numbers, right?"

As they exited the university gates, they noticed the increased police presence in the area. Patrol cars were stationed nearby, and officers were conducting random checks on suspicious individuals. The situation was grim, but Yn and Bangchan felt somewhat reassured by the visible security measures.

Over the next few days, the fear lingered, but life slowly returned to a semblance of normalcy. Yn and Bangchan stayed true to their promise, spending time together, and making sure their friends were safe. The campus buzzed with discussions about the ongoing investigation, with everyone hopeful that the police would apprehend the murderer soon.

One evening, as Yn and Bangchan were walking back to their dorms, they noticed a group of students gathered around a notice board. Curiosity piqued, they joined the crowd to read what had caught everyone's attention.

"It's a message from the police," a student explained. "They believe they have identified a suspect in the Han River murder case, but there is no evidence."

As days turned into weeks, the investigation continued, and the fear gradually subsided. The suspect was eventually apprehended, and the campus breathed a collective sigh of relief. Though the scar of the tragedy remained, Yn and Bangchan realized the importance of standing together in the face of darkness.

Life at the university continued, and Yn and Bangchan grew even closer. Their friendship became a source of strength and support, a reminder that in the face of fear, the bonds of friendship could provide solace and courage.
