Chapter 1: Victor Academy
[Trinity POV]
I was more than infuriated when Nura told me she was sending me to a boarding school."You're just trying to get rid of me." I mutter, looking out the window as she drives me to the airport. "Well, yes, Trinity. You know I'm going on a dangerous mission that involves Darkseid-"
"So? Why can't I help? You've trained me-"
"Not enough, Trinity. You don't even know what to call yourself. That's why you're going there. A lot of teens like you are going. You'll finish your training there."
"But I won't know anyone there." I whine, but she didn't fall for my puppy eyes, "Trinity Marielle Jacks, you are going there, whether you like it or not."
I pouted while crossing my arms, looking out the window. There really was no way of convincing her to let me stay. Nura put her foot down and I couldn't pick it back up, no matter how hard I tried.
After Nura filled out a little bit of paper work for me, she waited with me until I boarded the plane. When my flight number was called, we stood from our bench and she hugged me tightly. Placing motherly kisses on my face, I pushed away. "Okay, okay. Nura, jeez." I say as she smiled. She wasn't my real mom, but she felt like one after all these years after taking me in.
"Have a good flight, don't speak to strangers, and I love you." She says sweetly and I nod and wave goodbye, walking through the panel to my plane, "Love you too."
I was headed to Brunswick, Maine.

The plane ride was long since I lived in Florida and was heading to Maine. Why they made the school for us in Maine? I have no idea. There was a black cab waiting for me at the airport with the driver holding up a large card with my name on it. I sighed, and walked towards it. "Hi," I start, unsure what to say, "I-I'm Trinity Jacks."
"Oh, why hello, Miss Jacks. I am to take you to the academy." He says properly, opening the door for me and I nodded, giving a small smile and getting in.
The car suddenly stopped and I looked around. We were practically in the middle of nowhere. "Excuse me, why are we stopping?" I ask and my driver answers, "This is as far as I may escort you, miss. The academy is a little pass those trees. You have your card?"
I looked through my bag and pulled out my card ID thing, "Yeah, Nura gave it to me. What do I need it for?"
"It'll help you enter the academy, then you'll figure out the rest."
I nodded and tipped him, starting to get out.
When I went through the trees, I started hearing chitter chatter and I started seeing people heading the same way I was. I must've been going the right way.
The trees cut off and by this time, the talks were loud and it sounded like an overcrowded amusement park. When I passed the last of the trees, my feet hit pavement. Students talked on the white benches and hung out near the glass windows of the building.
This boarding school was huge, and all these people were sidekicks. I couldn't believe it. The large sign read, "Victor Academy" and I took in a shaky breath, here goes nothing.
I walked up the steps, but there were lines to get in at the top. There was some type of scanner at the front of each one, and students quickly scanned a card of their own to get in.
When it became my turn to scan my card, it identified me as Trinity Marielle Jacks, it gave me a little ticket thing, then flashed green, letting me inside the school.
