Are these feelings real ?

I played off the whole kiss thing pretty well , I guess , but as I walked into my house I didn't know what exactly to do. I mean Taylor was my best friend but Taylor C. Was somehow the perfect guy for me. I didn't understand that I could still like someone even if they were dating my best friend. I thought to myself as my phone rang.
It was Taylor. I sighed as I picked the phone up and answered as my insides twist of nervousness. " Ryn.. I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to be such a horrible person back there and I know you probably won't forgive me "
Me not forgive her ? She would never talk to me again if she found out what happened between me and Taylor.
" no. I forgive you " I said as you could tell from her voice she had a smile on her face. " yay ! Oh and um.. I talked to Taylor " she said as I tensed up.
" he was acting really weird. Do you have any idea what it might be ? " I sighed with relief " nope " I said trying not to be obvious that I was the exact reason he was being all weird.
" ok.. " she said as if grew silent over the phone.
" so tomorrow is Saturday and I was wondering if you wanted to come over with the rest of the girls and the guys. Plus , a few more " as I felt her smirk through the telephone line. I didn't know what she was up to but I didn't want to know.
I sighed and giggled " of course. How could I say no "
I was so nervous inside as I thought about Taylor C. And what Taylor would say if she realized something what up between the two of us. So , I was just gonna Pretend nothing happened between us even though that was far from the truth.
She giggled " well I should go " she said as I agreed and we hung up.
I got ready for bed and went to sleep thinking about the next day.

• Next Day •

I woke up from my king sized bed and hopped out as I ran into my bathroom to get ready for today. I showered and dried my hair pulling it into a messy bun as I put my pajamas back on and grabbed a bowl of cereal. I ate then texted Taylor.

I say we start early ;)

I changed out of my pajamas into a tie dye pull over hoodie with black short shorts and put on a bit of mascara and packed a bag quickly for the night.
After packing , I got into my car and drove off to Taylor's.
I pulled up to her house as 2 cars were already pulled up.
I walked in and saw Taylor and Taylor C. Cuddling and then Taylor C's friend Nash sat on the other couch on his phone. I sighed and took a seat next to him as I looked over at Taylor C who was staring back at me. I bit my lip and looked away quickly trying to hide how I felt. Nash looked at me smiling and I smiled back a bit. I was single and I mean VERY single. So what was the harm of doing a little flirting sense I wasn't getting Taylor C. anytime soon.
As we flirted some I felt Taylor C staring at us with jealously.
Well this was a plus. I get a boy and the chance to make Taylor jealous.
" so.. Ryn " he said breaking the silence between all of us
" yea ? " I smiled
" tell me about yourself " he smiled and scooted a bit closer to me.
" there isn't much to tell " I giggled.
" oh come on. There has to be something about you that we don't know " Taylor said smiling.
Well there is the fact that I kissed your Boyfriend
I pushed the thought away
" well " I thought to myself I mean I was a pretty open person.
" I was born in Texas " I giggled
It was true but I didn't tell anyone because I'm a city girl and who knew a city girl was from Texas ?
Taylor giggled a bit as Taylor C held back his laughs.
Nash smiled a bit as if it was adorable.
" that's cute " he smiled
Then I knew Taylor C was upset but I didn't say anything to him or even look at him.
I blushed as my face was blood red
" your also adorable when you blush " he said biting his lip.
As Matt and Jolene walked in and Taylor C hopped up almost making Taylor fall.
" um.. I gotta.. Uh.. Use the bathroom " he said coming up with an excuse to leave the room.
As he left Taylor sighed awkwardly and I just looked away back to Nash as we continued to talk as Taylor C came back.
" so guys " Matt said standing " this is really boring " he laughed
I giggled and agreed
We all stood up as Nash grabbed a penny board from his bag.
We all looked at him sense we had never rode one before.
He laughed and looked over at me
" wanna learn ? "
I nodded in agreement as we all walked out to the backyard.
I stood on Nash's board as he held my waist and pushed me around.
I laughed and put my hands over his on my waist and laid back on him.
We sat there for a moment giggling then we continued riding.
As he let go of my waist he came around and grabbed my hand as I balanced myself on the board.
We rode for a few more minutes until Jolene took a look at Taylor's pool
" let's swim ! " she said as we went inside to change.
He boys swam in there shorts and Taylor let me borrow her small red bikini as I pulled my hair back and put on a pair of sunglasses.
We all came down to the pool as Taylor C jumped right in splashing Taylor causing her to scream. We all giggled as Nash came up from behind me and grabbed my waist throwing me in with him.
I screamed as everyone else laughed at me. " not funny " I said hitting his shoulder playfully with a smile.
He giggled as we sat on the stairs.
I sat in his lap as Taylor C and Matt swam and Taylor and Jolene sat out.
We just sat with each other for a while without saying anything as I laid back on him with my eyes closed.
" wanna actually swim " he giggled
I nodded smiling as we moved from the stairs to the water.
He went underwater as I got on his shoulders. Matt got on Taylor C's shoulders as I laughed at them and Matt screamed " CHICKEN FIGHT "
I laughed as Taylor and Nash moved closer together and I took matts hand as we pushed each other around a little. We were still holding into each other as he fall back as he didn't let go of me we both fell off.
" TIE " he screamed causing me to laugh again
" we won fair and square " Nash said giggling
" I wouldn't have fell if you would have let go " I said
" but you did " Taylor C said
" fine whatever lets just do it again " I laughed hopping back onto Nash
We went again but this time when Matt went to grab my hands I pushed him back causing him to fall back.
I laughed as I gave Nash a high five which still on top of him.
He went under and let me off as Cameron and Lana came in super late which wasn't anything new.
Cam stripped down and jumped in with us as Lana got one of Taylor's swimsuits to sit out in.
After we swam for a while , I hopped out of the pool and went with Nash to his penny board. I got on his back as we took me to it. As we got there I hopped off and got on his board. We rode for a little longer as I turned to him still giggling and smiling. It was the perfect moment like in all the romantic movies where the couple lived happily ever after. Except.. On a penny board.
Then Nash kissed me as I kissed him back with a smile on my face.
I couldn't help but feel terrible that I had kissed Taylor C. The night before and now here I am kidding Nash. But the difference was that I actually have a chance with Nash.
We both pulled away with a smile on our faces.
" God you're beautiful " he said biting his lip
I giggled and blushed a bit
" so.. Ryn.. I-I was wondering if this meant.. Well are we- yah know "
" boyfriend and girlfriend ? " I smiled
He nodded " is that what you want ? " he asked
I nodded. He smiled wider than before and kissed me again.
Something is telling me that this isn't gonna end well.
