The next morning I stepped out into the sun and looked all around. Horses were every where. And when I say everywhere I mean all I see are horses, horses, and more horses. Have I died and gone to heaven. I take off at a run to the stables. As I stepped into the shade of the stables, I took in a breath. It smelled like horses, saw dust, and summer. My favorite smells in the whole world. Surpise I know. I probably don't look like a cowgirl, but it's my secret life. My mom has always been against me riding, never let me go near a horse. And not because she thought it was dangerous. She said it was improper, and why couldn't I be like my two older sisters who did ballet. At nights just so I could ride I snuck out my window and drove to the barn to take lessons. Mom always thought I snuck out to partys. Anyways I grabbed the saddle and bridle off the hook in the tack room. I walked down the aisle peeking into the stalls one at a time. They were all beautiful horses. I finally decided on a buckskin mare named Bell of The Ball aka Bell. I quickly tacked up and led her out. Swinging my foot over her I mounted. We rode off at an easy trot, getting to know eachother. I know all the trails so it wasn't a hard decision when I picked the trail to the lake. The sun was just rising over the horizon and birds were bringing to sing morning songs. This was my favorite part of the day. The trail to the lake took me through a feild with wild flowers and tall grass. There was a breeze brushing the tall grass.
,it was stifling, and the sun blinded me. But it was the most beautiful site I have ever seen.
