The sunlight shone through the thin glass windows in my room. It woke me up. Wait, its Tuesday!! I thought, and look at my alarm clock. SHIT!! It's 11:45am. I should have been in school seven hours ago! My legs struggled out of bed, and I stumbled across a pair of jeans that was lying on the floor. I rubbed my eyes while I ran down the stairs to grab some breakfast. I quickly ate an apple, got some clothes on and fixed my makeup fairly. Afterwards, I rushed out of the front door and headed to school as if someone was chasing me.
When I arrived at my school, everyone was already having their lunch break. I met my three friends over at our table in the canteen.
"Hey Jiyoung! You're late, girl!" Dae Min said and gave me a hug. "Ugh, i know.... i was on my computer all night and...." Soo Ji stopped me in the middle of my sentence, as she usually does, and grinned at me. "You've got to learn how to control it soon. It happened twice last week, too!" I smiled a little while trying to hide my annoyance. "Yeah, I know, but I had to buy the tickets for all of their concert in LA and I REALLY...." again I was stopped by Soo Ji "Jeez, do you ever do anything else than talk and think about that Bang Tan kids?"
I threw Dae Min's pink straw at her. "It's BANGTAN SONYEONDAN!! and if you dont even like them, why do you want to go to their concert too? I can keep them for myself you know.." I smirked and leaned back in my seat. My eyes flicked to Hana who wasnt saying anything. Her legs were crossed and her chocolate brown hair was covering her perfect light tanned skin. She barely touched her lunch. "You know I'm kidding." Soo Ji continued and interrupted my thoughts. She threw the straw back at me with a weak throw. "Very funny..." I said ironically and smiled. Soo Ji touched the tip of my nose "Lets go back to class, girls! See you later."
I lifted myself from my seat and said good bye to Dae Min, Soo Ji and Hana, who still didnt bother replying. I was still wondering,though... Why didnt Hana say anything? She's always this little cute, pixie, energetic person. What is up with her? Yesterday, she was babbling about her perfect boyfriend, Ha Neul, who is the most popular guy in school and how AH-MAZING her life was at the moment. To be honest, I was tired of listening to how wonderful her little fairytale of a life is.
The bell rang when I was a couple of steps away from the biology room. I walked across the room and sat down at a random seat at the back. Not much people were in here. After all, everyone are always late for Mrs. Kim's class. She's this little teacher with spiky read hair, a big nose and egg shaped glasses whom people made fun of when she wasnt listening. I remember back in 2009 when she was found in the janitors room crying. She was bullied by some of the picky students including Jun Ho. He was the former quarter back but got suspended a couple of times because of his bad behaviour. He was taken off of the football team last year and Hye Jun, his alternate, stepped up to take his position instead.
What a coincidence, I heard Jun Ho's voice behind me. He poked my shoulder. "WHY ARE YOU SITTING AT MY..." he said with a raised voice. I turned my head to look at him. His face expression changed immediately. "Oh Jiyoung. I'm sorry, I thought..." he continued with a low, stuttering voice. "No problem" I said followed by a mad look and pulled a couple of books out of my bag. Jun Ho was such a douche. He had always been nice to me. Not particularly because he liked me, but because my father owned the company he worked in, really awkward. I could hear Mrs. Kim's heels walk down the hallway. She walked in with her nose lifted highly in the air.
Hana was walking behind her with her eyes locked on the ground with a stiff glance. I winked her over to me, but she didnt notice. I looked to my left and saw Ha Neul sit two seats away from me. She is probably going to sit beside him. She finally looked up and tried to send me a smile across the classroom. I winked her over to me again, but she ignore it and sit down like five seats away from me. That was odd, I thought and frowned.
Biology was boring as usual. I started drawing BTS especially my ultimate bias, Jungkook and I wrote their name all over my table. Mrs Kim told me twice to erase it, but I kept rewriting it when she wasnt looking. I couldnt wait to get home after school. I wanted to look in my mail box and see if I'd receive the tickets to BTS's concert. It was already 6 days, but the tickets came out really late. Of course there were other more ""important"" things to worry about. Such as my best friend, clearly hiding something from me.
I sat in my own thoughts. I didnt pay much attention to class. My eyes were focused on Hana and her every move. She looked like she was in pain, like she was about to burst out in tears or something. She didnt smile nor answered any of the teacher's questions even when she was asked. Her eyes were literally staring at the air. If she wasnt blinking, I would've thought she was dead.
The bell rang, and I almost fell backwards by the shock. Hana lifted herself immediately from her seat and ran out of the classroom. Mrs Kim's eyes followed her, but didnt bother to stop her. She never really interfere with her student's problems or lives in general. I ought to run after her, nobody else did and she is my friend, but when I stepped out of the classroom, she was nowhere to be found...
End of Part 1.
So how was it? This is only the first chapter so dont expect too much.
BTS will come out soon. Stay tuned~
