First off: Shout out to Minhnga Tran for adding this story to their reading list, Dan sach doc cua Minhnga Tran! You're amazing.

Hazel sat on the ground, with Frank close by, pacing up and down. He knew animals can't light up a fire, but if the wood was broken, will his backbone snap? He wouldn't take chances.

'Okay, Frank calm down.' Hazel soothed. 'We will find something.'

'Seriously Hazel,' he asked, 'We don't even know where we are or where those things went or how to capture them. Apparently, the gods and monsters have nothing in their vocabulary called "demigod day off".'

Hazel frowned. Unfortunately, they were lost.

'How about we sit a little and try to think of something.' She suggested.

Frank rubbed his neck. 'But...'

She cut him off with a kiss. He kissed back a moment later. The pulled away. 'Don't worry.'

His expression softened. He smiled at her. He took a few moment to observe.

Hazel had her hair loose today. Even with the empty sword-leash on the belt around her jeans and SPQR t-shirt, she looked like a real roman. Around her was the blue leather jacket he got her before. A few bits of hot chocolate still stained the area around her mouth.

He wore something totally different. His red polo shirt matched his blue trousers. His bag/quiver with arrows hung on his back along with the spear he just retrieved from the tree.

They might be different- 14 and 16, Canadian and African America, 6'3 and 4'9- but they wouldn't have asked for anything more if they had each other. They had been together through so much to give up for two ridiculous masses of running gold.

(A/N: Thought you guys would need to know how they looked like. Besides I don't want this to be too short and it is Frazel we are talking about. C'mon.)

Then, they heard the bushes beside them rustling. They immediately took a stance. Frank slowly advanced, Hazel right behind.

Bushing the bushes slowly away, they saw something unexpected.

Two animals- a crow and a boar- were there. They were smaller than the average size, but the same as the thief masses. Frank's firewood was between the boar's trunks. At the feet of the crow was Hazel's spatha.

Most importantly, the two were made of gold.

'And there you go.' A new voice came. Looking up, they saw two men. They recognized them; Pluto and Mars.

(A/N: I don't need to explain how they look like now, do I?)

The gods smiled at them. Glancing down, the animals had disappeared, leaving their possessions behind. Their parent's went soon enough too.

For some reason, they knew this was an approving smile.

An approving smile of Frazel.
