SUMMARY:  ▬ PART 1 ▬

Today was the day of Finney's Baseball Game. Would that be the chance to meet Bruce Yamada, Robin Arellano and Vance Hopper on the same day?

Finally, it was the baseball match. Finney didn't have Bruce going against him until his next one which is at his (Bruce's) abduction date. Although, He knew Bruce was playing. They were both in the same school but in separate teams. Which most likely made it a bit harder for Finney since it will be harder to communicate too him since all the baseball players and the popular kids always want him with them. But he didn't really care. He sometimes sees Robin watching the matches. Finney guessed he was bored and wanted to do something for at least between an hour and a half to two hours, maybe even 3 hours if the match takes too long.

Finney remembered when someone broke their foot because of baseball. The crowed eventual went quiet since they got shouted at for laughing, well most of them. Anyways, Gwen and Finney were in the living room. "When does your match start again?" She asked putting her books back her in her backpack. "Uh, around 4:30PM but i have to go early for one last practice." She nodded opening one of her notebooks. It had a red cover on it, the handwriting was like a child's.

Her face got sadder each time she turned the page. "Whats up Gwenny?" Finney asked quietly using his hands to put her head on his shoulder. "Nothing, just when mum was alive," She paused with very few tears strolling down her eyes, "When i used to draw, such stupid, pictures of her, me and you and Daddy." Finney also had a few tears, he always got sort of emotional on the subject of his mum. HE stroked her hair, "Its alright, Gwenny." He whispered loud enough so she could hear . "Promise?" She asked with a slight comforting smile. "Promise." Not noticing the time, they need to go to school. Quickly, they got their shoes on and left the house.

"Gosh." Gwen gasped at the air. It was cold, really cold she was glad she wore a sweater today. Finney's ears where freezing up, she got it from his mum. HE got almost everything from his mum except from her eyes. He got his dads eyes. He hated that, very much. He wish he could phone the cops to make him go to jail but he has no other family member living in Denver except his grandmother and when she dies which is pretty soon, they will have no-one else and would have to move away to live with their auntie or something. "Finney, are you okay?" His sister was right beside him, putting her arm around his neck. "Yeah, don't worry my ears are just freezing," he chuckled, putting his hand down from his ears. "Awhh man, we have to split up!" Finney smiled at her sister, "Well, bye Gwenny. Stay safe." "I'll see you at your baseball game! Bye Finney." Gwen waved and he done the same as he walked away smiling as he saw two boys.

It was Billy and Griffin. He was glad they were now friends. It was all sudden but that's alright. Maybe one of them noticed i hung out with the other so they turned to be friends. "Hey, you two." He said happily. He was exited for his baseball game. "Hey Finney! Griffin is a dumbass." Billy put a scared look on his face as he said it. Griffin slapped him, "What did i do?!" Finnney just listened to the both of them, "You literally ran right in front of a teacher!" Billy exclaimed, earning another slap by Griffin. "I didn't see her," he slapped him again but then looked at Finney,"Whens your game?" Finney looked back at him with a smile, "Uhh, 4:30! I have to leave at 4:00 or earlier though." As he said that, Billy finally stopped crying his eyes out, "We will come at 4:30 then." Finney nodded just before the bell went. "Well, bye see you at break!" Billy said, waving at the two boys. "Bye Billy," Griffin and Finney yelled loud enough so he could hear.

In homeroom, the teacher was late, of course. Yesterday she told the class she has a meeting the next day so she will be late. So right now, everybody was chatting too each other, screaming. Finney got a piece of paper and wrote on it,

It was lunch, Finney never gets anything at lunch, he hates the food and he isn't hungry anyway. Plus he has no money to pay for it, his dad never cared, he only wants him and Gwen to go to school to learn and so that he could be alone and not with his children he never takes care of. Finney was more of the dad in the family taking care of his children as much as he could. Taking his fathers bottles and throwing them away, making sure everybody eats dinner, etc. He would do anything to keep them alive. Although, he doesn't really take care of himself like he does to everybody else. He wanted everything to be normal, the way it was when the whole family was together.

A boy came up to him, he never noticed that though. He was practically stood still somewhere around in the hall thinking about things. That was until the boy touched his shoulder. Finney flinched, "Oh-do you-do you need anything?" The boy shook his head, "Oh no no. Just that you was standing in the same spot for a few minutes." "o-oh... Sorry about that." The boy shook his head once again, "Don't worry about it! What's your name?" Finney knew his voice and look was familiar, although he needed proof it was him. Bruce Yamada. "Finney Blake," he said smiling politely. "Your name suits you," he said making Finney's smile grow, "Bruce, I'm Bruce Yamada." Finney would have been jumping up and down but he never, he forced himself not to because then it could be kind of weird, wouldn't it? "Okay, uh- I play baseball and you do too right?" He nodded, "we are in separate teams, iv'e seen you around." Which then the shorter boy (Finney) nodded. "Well, Finn! I'll see you at the match." "Yep, see you." Bruce the left with a smile, he went to his popular friends probably. The popular kids were all assholes, except Bruce. He helped people when they needed it, just is kind in general.

Finney walked outside, looking if they were at the tree spot. Billy and Griffin were there! Which was good. They were sitting on the benches near it, He forgot there was benches there. "Oh my god- BILLY!" Griffin said obviously mad at him and Billy was looking like he was about to cry. "What's this about?" Finney asked making the boys smile and look at him. "Nothing, just this dumb idiot thinking it was a good idea to buy one of them horrible drinks!" He yelled pointing at the drink on the bench. "It's not even bad.." "IT IS!" Finney giggled, "Okay you two finish eating then we can all talk about something." They both nodded. Billy had a ham and cheese sandwich with a cookie as Griffin had a packed lunch with a ham sandwich, sprite and candy, . Griffin fake gagged every time Billy took a sip out of that drink and Billy would roll his eyes. "Finney, aren't you gonna eat?" Billy asked making the both boys look at him. "Nope, i'm not hungry right now," he replied to Billy. They nodded at him making a quick concerned look at each other.

They Finally finished eating. They started talking about how many teachers they hate and why. "-No because Miss Smith makes us have to do a 10 page essay in one day! Billy" exclaimed. "My last essay was about Romeo and Juliet!" Finney laughed, "Miss Smith loves me." The two boys frowned hearing Finney's such 'offensive' words. "Stop flexing on us Finney, its hurting my feelings.." Griffin dramatically sighed putting his and on his chest. Billy laughed on purpose, causing griffin to slap his head. "Oh.. I am so sorry, my dearest Griffin." Finney continued the dramatic act. It just made paperboy laugh even more, soon the three were all laughing until the school bell went and teachers blown their whistles for the students outside. "Well, bye! See you two at the baseball game." Finney hugged them, they smiled and laughed. "Bye Finney and Griffin!" Billy says waving. "Bye!" Griffin said. They all waved and walked to their last class.
