Y/N's POV:

"Just wait right here" mom says as she ran down the corridor to find Diego. I waited for a few minutes and she returned "he's right behind me".

I smirked and hid behind her. I heard his footsteps coming and then they stopped. "Hello, lover" Lila greeted.

After a few seconds of silence my dad spoke up."Holy shit". "You miss me already?". I picked at my nails, I'm not gonna lie, I am very nervous, i mean..imagine meeting someone who you've known for 12 years yet they've never even heard of you. I've been waiting for this moment for years. But now that it's actually here I want to turn back.

"You really came back?" He said, and mom spoke "I'm not here to stick around I'm just doing a little drop off". Diego stood in confusion for a few seconds "of what?".

Mom moved aside revealing me "Our daughter" she said proudly. "Diego meet y/n". We didn't say anything so mom slightly budged my shoulder "say hello y/n". I smirked and looked at Diego "hello
Y/n".

"Wait what?" Diego said. Mom picked up the briefcase and walked off. "Hey" he started following Lila. "Hey,hey, hey, hey, hey, listen-" Both Lila and Diego started looking at me so I sighed and Diego turned back to mom.

"This is- this is a joke right?" He muttered. "That your boys swim fast...jokes on me there" She chuckles but then turns serious "I've had y/n for 12 years".

The elevator dings and mom grabs Diego's chin "now it's time to do your part". Mom steps into the elevator "have fun bonding." She then turned to me "be good for me sweetie".

After the elevator closed, Diego's head snapped towards me and we were both in an awkward silence so I decided to speak up "so.."

A few minutes later, me and Diego were on our way to his brothers. As were were walking I suddenly felt a wave of some sort go through my body, but I decided to ignore it.

When we got to the lobby I noticed that chets dog had gone missing and he had been whistling out for him but there was no sign.

That was weird...
