Are You Ok? (Kaidou X Gang Member Reader)

Chapter 1

It's the day I've been so reluctant about. My first day of Highschool. I was supposed to be a week in already but we forgot.

Up till today, I have been homeschooled by my parents. But since neither of them graduated high school and both dropped out, they have to send me to one. PK Academy. 

We have the money to afford private school, which makes me more comfortable knowing I won't have to deal with crappy public school food. 

I groggily get out of bed and put on my extremely uncomfortable uniform with my own pair of black jeans because the pants don't fit. Not that I'm overweight or anything, the pants were  XXsmall. And nobody could fit that. Unless you're a literal twig or a kid.

I leave my room and walk downstairs to the kitchen and make myself some toast. I grab my phone off the counter and sit at the table and read my texts.

BirthGiver: 
"Hey Y/N, sorry we can't be home to see you leave, we had a business meeting. There should be a driver outside around the time you wake up. - Xo mom"

She does know she doesn't have to sign her texts right…

Father: 
"Hey kiddo, sorry, your mother and I left before you woke up. See you after school. Have a great first day"

I groan and put my phone in my pocket. As I get up from my seat I hear a honk from outside. Assuming it's the driver, I walk outside and open the front door.

"I can walk". I say opening the passenger side door to talk with him.

"I’m sorry, but your parents have given me orders to drive you." The driver said.

"I know where I'm going. I don't need a babysitter." With that, I grab my backpack off the front porch and start walking down the street.

'Where the fuck am i?' I've gotten myself lost. I wish I just accepted the ride instead of being an ass to the driver. 

I open up my phone to check the time. My phone says I've only been out here 15 minutes but it feels like years. 

I take a turn around a corner and see a Pink haired male walking. He seems to be wearing a PK Academy uniform so I quickly run over to the male.

I mumble almost incoherently, my voice being raspy due to lack of use over the years. "Excuse me, do you go to PK Academy?" 

The male just nods as a response and continues walking.

I huff a bit and keep following. "Mind if I walk with you? I'm new and I got lost." 

The male sighs a bit and nods his head. I smile and keep following, not to close because we just met and that would be awkward.

The male walks to school ignoring my existence the majority of the way there. We walk into the building and go our separate ways. 

I walk into the office and talk to the secretary, getting my schedule and her asking for a person named Kaido to come give me a tour of the school. 

'i'm not an idiot, I can find my own way around.' Despite my thoughts  I smile warmly and wait for the person named Kaido because I didn't want to get lost again.

A few minutes pass and a boy with light blue hair and a slightly messy uniform walks into the room and walks over bowing slightly. 

"I am so, so sorry I'm late! I got distracted by Nendo on the way!" He says.

"Its fine." The secretary says. "Please, introduce yourself to our new student." 

Kaido turns to me and smiles. I notice the red bandages around his wrist and look at them in confusion glancing at my own gold ones. They were a gift from my father when I was young. They boost strength, speed, and agility when punching. Sadly they glow when used.

He seems to notice mine as well and audibly gasps at them. 

"Do you have powers as well?!" He screeches. I cover my ears to block out the sound.

I just ignore his question and glare at him. 

"Can we just start the tour, Kaido?" I ask him. He nods and grabs my arm and leads me out of the room and starts giving me a tour of the school. 

After showing me the gym, cafeteria, and the offices, he finally lets go of my sleeve. He looks over at a Blue haired girl and blushes kind of hard. 

I tap him on the shoulder and he kinda jumps. "S-sorry! Uhm- that's Teruhashi, she's the prettiest girl in school." He seems to zone out looking at her and I just look her up and down. 

She is beautiful, but not really my type. Honestly, I don't know what my type is, but whatever it is, it's not her. 

She notices me and Kaido instantly b-lines to me. She stands in front of me and offers her hand.

"Good morning! You must be new!" She smiles warmly. I take, and shake her hand and bow a bit. 

"L/N, Y/N. Call me Y/N." I say. My voice is finally starting to clear up.

"I'm Teruhashi Kokomi!" The bluenett keeps smiling. Oh. She's one of those always cheery people. 

"Nice 'not' to meet you Teruhashi." I grab Kaido's arm and walk off with him.

Teruhashi scoffs under her breath and is suddenly surrounded by a group of people so she can't run after us. 

Kaido looks at me seemingly pulled from a trance and looks at me. 

"Let me see your schedule." Kaido says. I hand him the paper and his face lights up. "You have all classes but 4th with me!"

He grabs my sleeve but I push his hand off this time. "Could you not grab me?" I ask the male. 

he ignores my comment and leads me to our home room. He sits in the middle of the room and I stand there awkward not wanting to sit in someone else's seat. The teacher walks in and sits at his desk.

"L/n, Y/n?" He says. 

"That's me." I say. He offers his hand which I shake. 

"I'm Mr. Iguchi. I will be your teacher for the rest of the year. Sit wherever you want, as long as you aren't disruptive." He turns the chair around and starts going through some papers. 

I see Kaido point to a seat next to him but I roll my eyes a bit and sit next to the blue-haired girl we were talking to earlier. 'What was her name again? Turakashi?'

I hear a choked laugh from the pinkette that was a few seats ahead in the row next to me but I didn't really care.
