Three

"Oh look! Here comes the bad luck monster!" A girl yells when she sees Hanbin walk into the school. "Don't get close to him or he might spread his bad luck on us!" She tells her group of friends and everyone runs as far away from him as they can.

Hanbin would be lying if he said these type of comments didn't affect him. Of course hearing this every single day isn't easy. Being blamed for the death of his parents and Minsoo, who happened to be his best friend, was awful.

When he reaches his locker, he sees all kinds of bad things written on it, which makes him sigh. Everyone around starts laughing and he ignores them and starts taking his things out, before closing his locker again and starting to walk to class.

As he's walking to class, someone stops him and throws his books on the floor before laughing. "Aww, this loser has a diary? What do you write about, you freak? About how you killed your parents and Minsoo?" He laughs.

Hanbin tries to hold back his tears and reaches for the diary. "Please give it back." He says quietly, trying not to cry.

"What? Are you so scared of people finding out you actually killed them? How scary! I got goosebumps." He makes a disgusted face. "Let's see..." He opens the diary as Hanbin tries to take it away from him. "It's been a year without Minsoo, but it feels like-"

"Give it back!" Hanbin tries reaching for it and feels tears roll down his face.

As Zhang Hao is trying to process everything he was just told, he sees two guys walk into the room.

"Oh, you must be the new guy." One of the guys tells him.

"Yujin, this is Zhang Hao. Zhang Hao, this is Taerae and the guy next to him is Yujin." Gyuvin tells him.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Zhang Hao tells them, then looks down, still trying to process everything.

"Likewise, Zhang Hao. I actually didn't know we were getting a newbie. Who did he get?" Yujin asks Jiwoong and Gyuvin.

"Sung Hanbin." Jiwoong tells him.

"Sung Hanbin? Wait, but isn't he-" Taerae starts, but Gyuvin cuts him off.

"Anyway... so Zhang Hao, are you starting today or tomorrow? You must meet up with Hanbin soon. It can either be today or tomorrow, though. I know this is a lot to process, so start whenever you're ready."

"I'll start tomorrow then. I'm still trying to process all of this."

"Alright, but I just want to let you know that you could be helping Hanbin from the bullies right now." Jiwoong tells him and looks up at the screen from earlier.

Zhang Hao also looks up at the screen and sees Hanbin is getting bullied. Some guys are throwing his books on the floor and saying mean things to him.

"So if you want to start today, you can teleport to him just by thinking 'Teleport to Hanbin' and the secret code which is '0710', but if you want you can just start tomor-" Before Gyuvin can finish, Zhang Hao is already gone.

"I guess he chose to start today." Yujin tells them. "But are you sure he can succeed? Did you tell him that if he doesn't, he'll die for real this time?"

"Oh..." Gyuvin's eyes widen. "We completely forgot!"

"You idiot!" Jiwoong slaps him on the head. 

"Who are you calling an idiot?! You forgot to tell him too!"

"Just stop fighting and tell him as soon as he comes back. Or maybe one of you teleport to him." Taerae suggests.

"He'll be fine. We'll tell him as soon as he comes back."

"Alright, I'll get going. See you later." Yujin walks out of the room and Taerae follows him out.

"Ugh." Jiwoong sighs. "Explaining everything to newbies is kind of hard. We completely forgot to tell him the most important things."

"Oh no..." Gyuvin's eyes widen. "We forgot to tell him something else!"

"What?" Jiwoong asks but then realizes what he means and his eyes widen as well. "Oh no."
