Ever since Jaemin and Jisung adopted Nina, they never had time for their eldest. The one who they actually went through the effort to get a surrogate mother for. Y/N was now left to do everything on his own, while they fawned over his new sister.
Deep inside, he knew Jaemin and Jisung would always love him. But that didn't make it hurt any less. The teenager now kept to himself and his friends and boyfriend, rarely speaking at home or anywhere else.
"Just tell them." Jungwon said, carding his finger's though Y/N's locks. "You'll feel lighter, and maybe they'll give you more attention."
"Jungwon, we talked about this already." Y/N said, locking eyes with his boyfriend. "I'm not going to force them to do something."
A week later, Y/N was sitting alone in his room, watching a kdrama on his tv which he bought himself.
"Oppa, Appa said you have to come down." Nina said, poking her head into Y/N's room.
"How many times have I told you to knock?" Y/N hissed. Be glanced back apologetically at his tv which was playing his show and made his way downstairs.
"Appa, did you call me?"
"You've been acting strangely." Jisung started. "You never want to talk anymore, and you just hole up with your friends."
"I-" Y/N was at a loss of words. He didn't think they noticed.
"Please, Y/N." Jaemin said. "Of we did something's ng, you have to tell us or we can't right it."
"I-" Y/N felt a lump in his throat and was angry at himself for needing to cry. "I guess- I don't know."
"Y/N." He was pulled into a hug, and broke down.
"Y-yo ualways give N-Nina so much attention, and- and it just- I don't even k-know anymore. A-at first I t-thought it was her being ill, but you n-never had time for me anymore." Y/N cried. "It was always w-work, N-Nina, sleep." Y/N cried, and he felt Jaemin's hold tighten. "M-maybe I should just leave."
He broke free from his father's hold and went out the front door. He walked all the way to the park, where he saw his friends hanging out. He'd told them he was busy, but that was a lie. Truth was, he didn't even feel like being around anyone.
"Y/N?" Niki gasped, running over. "What happened?"
"I left." Y/N choked out. "They asked me what was wrong, but I just didn't want to stay there anymore."
"Do you- do you want to stay at my house?" Jungwon offered hesitantly, not wanting to uset Y/N further.
"A-are you sure?" Y/N asked. "You have your siblings, you shouldnt have to have another burden."
"Wh osaid you're a burden?"
"Me." Y/N said. "I obviously am. It's no secret, or they'd have given me attention if I even deserved it."
"How can you say that?" Niki asked, lightly punching Y/N. "You're not a burden, no matter what."
"Okay..." Y/N said reluctantly. "Won, I'll stay with you until I can find somewhere to stay."
"You're staying with me until I say otherwise." Jungwon said firmly, eliciting a small smile from Y/N.
"Thanks, Jungwon."

Back at home, Jaemin and Jisung were sitting in the living room. Jisung had been crying since Y/N stormed off, knowing that it was their fault. Jaemin was just staring at the wall, trying to think what made them do that.
Incoming call from Jungwon
"Hello?"
"Hi, Mr Park, I uh, just wanted to let you know Y/N's staying with me, Jeongin and Jimin hyungs."
"Can I- can I speak to him?"
"Sure." Jisung beard a few murmurs, before the phone was passed to Y/N.
"Hello?" Jisung felt even guiltier now that he heard Y/N's voice, wh sounded like he'd been crying.
"Y/N, please, come back home." Jisung begged quietly. "You're the most important part of our family, and the fact that we couldn't see that- was the biggest mistake we ever made in our life."
There was a minute of silence, then Y/N spoke again.
"Okay." Y/N replied. "I-I'll get Jimin hyung to drive me over or something."
"We love you, okay? Don't forget that." Jisung said, before ending the call and staring at his lockscreen, which was a picture of Nina. Now he realized how much they'd actually neglected Y/N, to the point that his lockscreen with a family picture of him, Jaemin and Y/N, was now a photo of Nina only.
It seemed like ages before Y/N reached home, and rang the doorbell. He couldn't even manage to look at Jisung and Jaemin, simply greeting them in a small voice and looking down.
"Y/N," He felt warm arms bringing him into someone's chest. "We're so sorry, baby. We should have realized sooner what we'd been doing."
It was Jaemin.
"We also realized that Nina had been bullying you." Jaemin continued. "She admitted it,.after you left, and we're sorry we didn't catch on to it. She's going away tomorrow for her camp, and... When she gets back, we decided to rethink this whole adoption situation."
"Appa, it's not your fault." Y/N mumbled, still looking down. "You don't have to give her away just because of this."
"We're not giving her away merely because of this." Jisung slid into the conversation. "She has behavioral conditions that we thought could be dealt with. And her biological parents will be able to deal with it. For now, you're our main priority."
"Why did you guys call me-?" It was Taeyong, who the two had forgotten they'd called over. They thought he could help locate Y/N, but forgot to tell him they'd found the boy.
"We- uh, we made a mistake and Y/N ran away." Jaemin said sheepishly. "A big mistake."
"I'm guessing you've made up?"
"Yeah."
