Stretching and yawning after waking up Y/n slid out of bed and went to the bathroom to do her morning routine. Wanting to do something nice she thew on a pair of sweatpants and a random top with some crocs before leaving her room and quietly shutting the door.
Heading towards the kitchen she sees Aran leaving the guest room. Mornings were exchanged as you both walked to the kitchen. "Do you always wake up this early?" you ask while shaking your protein powder and oat milk together. "Yeah, I was gonna go on a run but didn't want to risk getting lost." He replied back.
"I was getting ready to get doughnuts for everybody and the bakery's like 25 minutes away if you wanna come." You passed him the shaker before making another one in the extra shaker you had. "Or there's a gym on one of the higher floors."
"I'll come with you" He said. "Ight, let me just put on better shoes and we can leave." Going back to her room she took off her crocs and put on a random pair of sneakers. Grabbing her keys off the hook the 2 left and started their journey to the bakery.
6:17am
Y/n and Aran were now standing outside their destination while catching their breath. "You only won because that rock almost took me out" you said finally being able to breath normally. "Uh huh, and what about that stop sign." Aran laughed. "Jokes on you I juked that muthafucka." you replied while walking in. "Good morning Y/n. I had a feeling you would show up today, and you brought a friend. Good morning dear." The elderly black woman behind the counter greeted with a smile. "Good morning Ms. Gina, you know I can't go too long without stopping by. This is Aran." I smiled back while hugging her over the counter.
Good morning ma'am." Aran greeted. "Oh please, Ms. Gina is preferred. What can I get y'all today." "2 dozen assorted doughnuts please." Y/n said getting her card ready pay.
Unlocking the door and walking inside Y/n placed down one of the boxes Aran put down the other. "That dog for real scared the shit outta me. Pulling on its chain like that I thought it was about yank that shit out the ground and get me." Y/n said taking her shoes off. "I was praying for my life." "Unprovoked too, we was across the street and that nigga was barking it's head off." Aran added.
5pm
Everyone has left back to their own house after eating and agreeing to meet up at 9pm for the horror marathon. Y/n was currently binging Bad Girls Club on her ipad while doing her hair at her vanity. She had already washed it and was 3 rows away from finishing. The show on her ipad paused as a facetime call started ringing at the top of the screen. Answering with her knuckle the screen was soon filled with Kentrells messy ass head.
"Damn you look rough as hell" You laugh out glancing at the screen before looking back at the mirror to start your next braid. "That's actually why I called. Could you give me a retwist and line up ms. beauty school?" "Why can't Jackie do it? She's done it every other time." you questioned adding hair to the braid. "She's been at her parents house the past few days with Kel. Help a nigga out baby cuz." He pleaded. "You're lucky my hair shits already out. You gotta bring yo clippers tho, I ain't got none." "Thank you cuzzo. You the best fr." He said. "Yeah yeah, if you get here before I finish you waiting outside." Y/n rolled her eyes. "You got fast hands, you'll probably be making dinner when I get there." "If you purposely take a long ass time to get here in hopes of getting a plate I'll smack the shit out yo big headed ass."
"Aye you can't blame me you be throwing down like granny. I'll see ya tho." Trell said before hanging up. "That nigga act like he don't get fed." You rolled your eyes starting on the next row.
It only took 20 minutes you finish up, mousse and dipping involved. Laying your edges and tying a scarf on top of your head you cleaned the area you were at. Grabbing your clips, rat tail comb, and gel you went to the kitchen and placed it on the island. Not wanting to spend much time cooking you decided on shrimp with broccoli and mashed potatoes.
After washing and seasoning the shrimp and broccoli Kentrells signature knock was heard on the front door. Unlocking and opening the door Kentrell walked in and removed his shoes. "Watchu makin?" He asked going to the kitchen. "Food." You answered back shortly.
6:20pm
You and Kentrell finished eating and rinsed your plates off before placing them in the dishwasher. "Alright let's get this shit started. Did you wash your hair?" "During my shower last night." He answered sitting in the chair and lowering it so you have a view of his whole head. "Good enough" You put gel on the back of your hand and sectioned his hair.
It took an hour and a half to retwist Kentrells hair and 20 minutes to do a style and line up. You and Trell exchanged byes as he left and you cleaned up. Once the dishes were washed you brought your hair stuff to your room and put it back where it belonged. Changing out of your clothes you put on halloween themed pants and an oversized shirt. You packed clothes and other essentials in a duffel bag then slung it over your shoulder. Making sure everything was turned off you put on your fluffy sandals and grabbed your keys. You locked the door after walking out and headed to your car to get to Taylas.
