Episode 2: The First Mission, Tambourine Triple Threat!

Tambourine stood before Goku, with malice in his eyes, Goku's heart was filled with rage and a will to avenge his fallen friend. "You're the ones who took down Cymbal, how pitiful for a warrior to fall to two snotty little brats. Make it 'Snotty little fool' if you plan to fight me again!" Tambourine taunted him. "It won't be the same as yesterday, I've had something to eat now." "Oh ho, I can't wait to see this!" Tambourine spoke as his eyes began to glow bright red and a dark aura surrounded him, in a puff of smoke, two more Tambourine's spawned beside him.

It was then that Azoo and I warped in, "Who are you guys?" Goku asked. I answered, "Don't worry, we're here to help Goku, this guy killed our friend too!" "Another pitiful fool, and what's this?" He looked to Azoo, "You kinda look like my father King Piccolo." "You'll find out that I'm far better than him!" Azoo replied. In an instant the three-on-three battle began. "Good, you two showed up at just the right time." Supreme Kai of Time told us. "Just keep the other two off Goku, his Saiyan blood made him stronger after getting beaten before, so he can still handle one Tambourine." She explained. "Got it!" We both replied. My tambourine took flight, and I chased after him as our high-flying battle began.

Tambourine fired a beam at me, but I deflected it and launched off a barrage of ki blasts at him, he lashed out his tongue to block them and then sent it at me. It grabbed my arm, and he pulled me in. Once I was close enough I let off a Mach Kick hit him numerous times and he lost his grip on me. I charged him and landed a barrage of hits before using an axe kick to send him to the ground. He crashed but was still alive, "Time to end this, I'm borrowing a move from you Piccolo!" I brought my hands together and a ball of light formed in them. "Take this!" I yelled and shot the ball forth, "Light Grenade!" The ball hit Tambourine and made a big explosion vaporizing his body and killing him.

I looked over and saw that Azoo was wrapping up his own fight, he was always more of a melee fighter and was doing everything he could to keep close to Tambourine. Tambourine suddenly seemed as though he had a hundred arms, Azoo flinched at the sight but remained determined. "Kaio-ken!" He yelled and his body gained a red glow. Good thinking, the Kaio-ken will make him a bit faster to counter those. Tambourine unleashed the arms on him, Azoo was able to block some and dodge others but had to tank most of the hits until he finally found and opening and launched a kick to Tambourine's jaw sending him away. Azoo's arm stretched out and he yanked him back, once he was close he unleashed a flurry of kicks upon him followed by a dual palm strike that knocked him down. "Now to finish this!" He yelled and got right above him. A rainbow-colored ball of energy formed in his hand before he crushed it and threw the dust at Tambourine, "Soul Punisher!" He yelled and Tambourine was decimated by the attack.

He was out of breath from that last attack. "Way to go Azoo." I congratulated him. "Thanks Hazzel, how's Goku?" He asked. Just as he did we heard the sound of a Kamehameha wave go off and a scream of death from the last Tambourine. "I guess he's fine, I mean its Goku after all." I assured him. He laughed and we bumped fists over a job well done. Our victory was short-lived as we felt a dark energy approaching fast. "Who the hell is that?" I questioned as the person arrived. It was King Piccolo, and his youth had already been restored. Supreme Kai of Time was watching, "NO! He's not supposed to be in his youth yet, Hazzel, Azoo, he's going to kill Goku, you have to buy Goku time to escape, he needs to obtain the ultra-divine water so he can then beat him, just stall for time!" She ordered us. We teamed up together and launched a combined kick on King Piccolo. "Goku, get to Korin's tower now! You have to get the Ultra Divine Water from him, it's the only way to truly kill him!" I informed him. "I'm not leaving you guys, you're my friends now!" He refused. Azoo yelled at him, "Just go already, we'll hold him off!"

Azoo would sometimes lose his temper when things got serious, but this was something else. Yajirobe grabbed Goku and took off for Korin tower. "Keep it together Azoo, we just need to hold him off long enough for Goku to get away!" I reminded him. He apologized and together we fought for our lives against the powered-up King Piccolo, for the moment we seemed to be out-matched he was much stronger than the Tambourines we just fought. We charged forth to attack him, he grabbed our heads and slammed them together before throwing us away. We caught each other and Azoo kicked me off him and launched me at the Demon King. I unleashed a Flurry of punches upon him until I felt Azoo getting closer.

Without a word between us we both unleashed strong kicks against him. With just a nod we kept hitting him with a barrage of kicks and punches until we both charged in with Dual palm strikes, "Dual Justice Combination!" We both yelled and King Piccolo was sent flying away from us. He was still alive though. "That's enough you two, get back here now, Goku is far enough away now!" Supreme Kai of Time informed us. We gave a nods and were pulled back to our time by her.

We came back and Azoo collapsed to the ground. "Azoo!" I yelled concerned. "Take this time to catch your breath." She spoke and handed us a couple of Senzu Beans. "You'll have to go back in and join Goku for his Final battle with King Piccolo, another change happened and not only is King Piccolo stronger but whoever did this gave him an ally." She showed us the scroll and we saw Goku fighting a hopeless battle against both King Piccolo and Slug. "Slug!" We both called out at the sight of him. "Goku is nowhere near strong enough to beat him, you two need to go in with your primary mission being to defeat slug and support Goku in his battle with King Piccolo." She explained and we grabbed the scroll and were sent back once more.
