Dancing Hearts

Chapter 9

My crew and I pile out of the van. Hyunjin has his arm around my waist as Felix holds the door for us, smiling. We are brought back to a private dining area where there is a long wooden table low to the floor that is surrounded by cushions. On the table are three gas burner grills spread out for smaller groups to use. Hyunjin sits down at the head of the table. Going clockwise around the table are me, Felix, Han, Lee Know, Changbin at the other end, Derek, Seungmin, I.N., and Chan directly across from me. A server brings us hot towels to wipe our hands. Chan orders for us and he gets an assortment of items: kkotdeungsim, dwaejigalbi, bulgogi, samgyeopsal, kimchi, steamed eggs, stir-fried fish cakes, braised beans, and a lot of different vegetables. He also orders beer, wine, and of course soju. Later the servers bring out our food and then leave, closing the doors behind them.

"Noona, what would you like first?," I.N. asks.

"Everything, I have QUITE the appetite," I say. Chan chokes on his beer hearing my response. "You okay Chan?" I ask with an innocent look on my face, batting my eyes. He stretches out his leg and rubs his foot against mine. I cough back a giggle.

I.N. grills the different meats and serves me first. I take some meat and put it on lettuce with some kimchi. I wrap up the filling and put it all in my mouth in one bite. I know I have at least three sets of eyes on me so I make a loud yummy sound, almost a moan. When I open my eyes I about choke on my food. Derek is looking at me like I have lost my damn mind. Seungmin is chuckling at me and I.N. has covered his eyes so he can't hear. Han has a half smile, and a raised eyebrow. Changbin was halfway to bringing food to his mouth, frozen, staring at me. Lee Know continues to eat but he is chuckling. My three boys are staring at me, mouths hanging open.

"Eat everyone. It's fantastic food," I say laughing. The chaos starts up again as everyone talks.

"Felix, switch spots with me!" Han says.

I put my hand on Felix's upper thigh to hold him in place. Felix puts his hand on top of mine, interlaces his fingers, and gives me a squeeze. Han notices this and starts sputtering. Felix chuckles and releases my hand. Han looks up at me with his eyes wide. I look over to see that Derek is thankfully talking with Changbin. I run a finger over my lips, signaling to Han not to say anything. He grins that flirty grin again and nods. I turn back to my food, enjoying everything.

Chan pours soju into glasses and passes them down. "A toast to Sylinda! Congratulations on your win. And to Derek and Sylinda on their upcoming wins."

Derek raises his glass and yells, "Fighting!" We all laugh and down the liquor.

"Hey Noona, we should all go dancing after this!" Seungmin says.

I look at him and yawn. "Oh, I am going to go back to the hotel. I am exhausted." I say. I turn to look at Hyunjin. "But you should go."

Chan chimes in "I need to go back to work on some tracks. I can have Tim pick us up that way you guys can go in the van. Is that okay with you Hyunjin?"

Hyunjin smiles and takes my hand, kissing it. "Absolutely, I don't want her riding back by herself, just to be safe." Chan nods and gets his phone out to text Tim.

Chan pays for the meal with multiple protests from the group. I look at Han and he is pointing to his phone. He mouths "Call me later." I nod to him I will. Hyunjin helps me up, wraps his arms around my waist, and gives me a long kiss. When he finally releases my lips, I look up at him and he's giving me a wicked grin. We make our way out of the restaurant and Tim is parked behind the van. One by one the guys give me a hug bye. Meanwhile Chan grabs my bag, flowers, and trophy out of the van. Tim gets out of the driver's side to open the door for me but Channie signals to him he has it. Chan opens the door for me to get in. I slide in as he puts my stuff in the trunk. Then he closes the door behind him and sits close to me. I notice Tim is in a vehicle that has the blacked-out window already up. Chan turns on some music and leans over to kiss me on my neck.
