I was late for the train. I had my suitcase in hand and my backpack on my back. I had seven minutes before the train left. If I wanted to make it, I needed to sprint. I gave it my all and made it in no time.

Making it inside the building, I located my proper train. To my excitement, the train was still sitting there with two minutes to spare.

I got on the train, I put my luggage away, and searched my pockets for my ticket. I purchased it weeks in advance and needed it, so I wouldn't get fined. I saw no one walking around yet, but I wanted to make sure I was good.

To my luck, it was in my back pocket with my phone. I sat down across from my luggage, putting my backpack in the seat next to me.

The conductor begin to speak:
"Attention, passengers: this is your conductor speaking. The train is about to leave the station. Please stand clear of the closing doors."

As he said that, a beautiful brunette girl was rushing to get on. I saw that she was struggling, so I hurried to the door and grabbed her bag. She got through the door and it closed immediately after.

"Would you like me to put your bag up? I could put it with mine" I asked hoping to give her time to catch her breath.

Leaning against the railing near the door, she shook her head. "Yes, please" with heavy breaths attached.

Without hesitation, I put her luggage near mine and returned to my seat.

When I looked up, the girl was still leaning against the railing. I was starting to grow worried. No one else seemed to notice her.

The car I was in consisted of an old woman and two young guys chit chatting over women's Instagram photos.

After a minute or two, the beautiful girl walked towards me.

"Sorry for not expressing my gratitude! I am just a little out of shape and that run was a lot for me"

"No need to apologize, I am happy I was able to help. "

"If you don't mind, I would love to provide you with a kind service to show my gratitude.........I would love to keep you company"

I thought about it for a minute. There were so many seats, yet she wanted to keep me company. I really didn't have anything to do. I was just going to read and listen to Lana del Rey.

"Yes I would love that" I replied with a warm welcoming smile.

Where I sat had a table inbetween the seats. She sat right in front me. Getting a better view of her, she was gorgeous.

"I am Talia by the way. What is your name?" She asked

"Astra"

"That is such a pretty name. Where are you headed?"

"I am headed to Winslow Connecticut and you?"

"Hartford"

"Are you traveling for the holidays Talia"

"I am indeed. How about you? " she said with a slight smirk.

"Yes I am" I said trying not to blush.

The way she was looking at me and the way she smirked, was leading me to believe she was part of the rainbow club. I could be wrong but I did like the attention.

I decided to test her.

"Now tell me about yourself, I am more then intrigued......" I reached across the table and touched her hand and pretended to care about her ring.

"Wow that is a gorgeous ring" ..."oh my, how rude of me. Is it okay for me to touch you" I said it flirtatiously putting my hair behind my ear and giving my best face to match.
