Craig pov:

-In the end, yesterday's film wasn't that scary.
-You see, Tweek, I knew it was going to go well. Anyway, I didn't expect Craig to be the most frightening.
-I wasn't scared. The movie wasn't even scary.
-Says the one who shook during the whole film.
-Shut up Clyde, I wasn't shaking.

We were leaving school with Tweek, Jimmy, Clyde and Tolkien. I knew Tweek knew, I knew he knew I was afraid of horror movies and it was just so embarrassing. I wanted to bury myself alive and never come out again. Why did I look like such a loser when I was with him. I was annoyed with myself.

-See you tomorrow, guys.
-Yeah s-s-s-see ya.

We began walking with Tweek towards our homes. The sound of our footsteps grew louder and louder as we gradually moved away from the school.

-Well, Craig-
-I wasn't scared! I mean the film...

We stared into each other's eyes in silence before Tweek laughed without me knowing why.

-Why are you laughing like that?
-No it's just, you're still thinking about it?

I lowered my head, frowning.

-I just, I just thought you'd think I was lame. I mean, you said yourself that the movie wasn't scary. I don't want you to see me scared just for a stupid movie.
-Craig, look at me.

I raised my head and Tweek looked straight at me.

-I don't think you're lame, on the contrary. There's a lot of stuff I'm afraid of that you find boring and not scary at all. I admire you, very much in fact. Knowing one of your "weaknesses" makes me happy. You know what people say "nobody's perfect". But even so, I think you're perfect, no matter what.
-You really think I'm...perfect?

His smile faded from his face, replaced by a serious expression. He moved a little closer, his cheeks beginning to turn red. That look on his face. His way of getting closer to me. What was he trying to say?

-Craig, I-

He was interrupted by the sound of his phone vibrating in his pocket. He took it and picked up.

-Yeah? Dad?... Oh ok. I'll be there in a few minutes.

He hung up and put his phone back in his pocket.

-What's up?
-Sorry I have to run to Tweek Bros. My mom's supposed to be working but she's sick. Bye.
-Wait-

He didn't let me finish and started running to the café. Just now, he wanted to say something. By his serious face, I could tell it was something important. I'll ask him next time.

After a few minutes I arrived home and found myself directly in front of my parents with an annoyed look on their face. They told me to go and sit on the sofa.

-Listen, Craig, we got a call from Mr. Mackey. He explained to us that your grades were failing. I'm disappointed.
-Why didn't you ever tell us you were having trouble with your grades at school!?
-Maybe because you never asked. I wanted to tell you about it-
-Don't you dare lie to us!
-I'm not! I wanted to ask you for a tutor.
-We'll see if we can find one, first of all. Now go in your room.

I sighed for the umpteenth time and went up to my room to play video games all evening.

A few days later, I woke up in my bed as I did every day. I got up, got ready, had breakfast and sat down in front of the TV to watch Red Racer. I heard the doorbell ring and got up to open the door.

-Good morning Craig.
-What the...What are you doing here?
-I'm here as your tutor.

I glanced tiredly at the girl in front of me. She tucked her long black hair back behind her ear, and put a hand on her pink beret to keep it from blowing away in the wind.
