"We're here." The Uber driver said as they pulled up to a very large house. Auroras jaw hit the floor as she saw the gigantic mansion that laid in front of her.
Aurora thanked the driver before getting her luggage, which ended up being a slightly large box that looked like a package. The car zoomed away, but Aurora didn't even notice. She just stood, looking at the house in awe.
It was a surprise for everyone in the orphanage when Aurora was being adopted. She looked sweet, but since she didn't want to be adopted, she pulled pranks on everyone who went into the orphanage. She thought she'd be with a regular family, but some famous entrepreneur was who 'adopted' her. She was then told that she wouldn't be in a family, she'd be living in a house with a bunch of teenagers.
Aurora had asked how they had gotten so much money. The man said that they have infinite amount of money, but refused to tell her why. Aurora just assumed that they were secretly super humans or something. She didn't push the topic and just went along with it.
Aurora took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell. Immediately, a girl slightly taller than her opened the door. She has blonde hair that had been slightly curled, and light blue eyes.
"Hi!" The girl said, a big smile plastered on her face. "Are you the new girl? Or are you the delivery man?" She eyed the box in Aurora's hands.
Aurora paused. She was about to answer, until the girl cut her off.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I meant delivery woman. I'm so sorry for calling you a man." She said sincerely. Aurora stared at her, think she was joking, but her blue eyes were filled with worry that she'd be mad.
"No it's fine," Aurora said chuckling, "I'm the new girl. My name is Aurora."
The girl smiled. "Great! My name is Paisley!" She opened the door wider so Aurora could come in.
Aurora stepped inside, and she was immediately amazed at how gorgeous the house was.
"Well, I guess I'll show you around!" Paisley exclaimed.
She led Aurora down the long, marble hallway to a large staircase.
"We will go up to your room first so you can put your luggage away." Paisley said.
Aurora nodded, still stunned by the house. Paisley took Aurora into her room. Aurora had never seen anything so nice. How did she go from
an orphanage to this?"Take your time look around your room." Paisley said and sat down on a fluffy chair.
After Aurora was done, Paisley led her back to the main floor and into the kitchen.
The scent of spaghetti roamed through the air. Aurora saw a pretty red headed girl at the stove.
"Hey Amber! This is Aurora!" Paisley called out.
Amber looked up from the stove and smiled warmly at Aurora.
"Hey! I don't know where everyone else is. They were supposed to come down to see you." Amber said, a confused look on her face.
"It's ok! Guess I'll just try and find them while exploring." I replied.
"I'll help you explore!" Paisley happily volunteered.
All of the sudden, a loud scream came along with thudding.
"NOAH! RYKER! I SWEAR I'M GOING TO FIND YOU." A pretty short girl came running down, her whole body soaked.
"Hey who are you?" She asked looking at me. "Ohhhh you must be the new girl. I'm Amari."
"I'm Aurora."
Amari turned to Amber, looking pissed. "Ryker and Noah dumped water on me while I was napping."
Amber sighed. "They're probably hiding outside in the bushes."
Amari ran off angrily. "I'M COMING FOR YOU GUYS!"
"Noah and Ryker like to prank....a lot." Paisley explained as she led me away from the kitchen.
I smiled. I LOVED pranking.
"Ok let's continue!" Paisley pulled me away.
She showed me the living room, an office, the dining room, art room, and theatre! She led me to the game room where I heard voices shouting.
"COME ON BRYCE GET HIM. GET HIM." One of the boys shouted.
"GOT HIM!" The other boy shouted.
They cheered then looked over.
"This is Ryker and Bryce." Paisley said and pointed at each.
"Weren't you running from Amari?" I asked Ryker.
He nodded. "Don't tell her I'm down here."
I laughed and nodded before Paisley dragged me away.
She took me to the gym where I saw two tall boys running on the treadmill. The gym seemed to have every piece of equipment possible. Both guys were very tall and muscular.
"HEY!" Paisley yelled. "This is Aurora. Aurora meet Aaron and Noah."
I waved before Paisley ran off towards another room. She finished showing me around the house and took me outside.
The outside was gorgeous. There were many treehouses and a large pool with a slide. In the back I saw a field with a boy and girl playing football.
"CHELSEA!" Paisley screamed and ran over to her friend. Her friend gave her a big hug. She was pretty, but I couldn't help but notice the guy next to her. He was tall, muscular, and had brown hair and brown eyes.
"Hey I'm Nicolas but I go by Nick." He said to me.
I smiled. "I'm Aurora."
"They say they're not dating, but they basically are." Paisley piped in.
"No we're just good friends." Chelsea said with a blush.
"Sure. Well Aurora I have one more place to show you!"
At night after dinner
"We should do something to celebrate Aurora being here!" Suggested Amari.
"We should play capture the flag!" Aaron exclaimed.
Everyone nodded in agreement. Amber pulled out her phone to make pairs on the wheel randomizer.
"Amari and Nick you're team yellow. Ryker and Paisley you're team green. Amber and Bryce you're team red. Noah and Aaron you're team blue. Lastly, Chelsea and Aurora are team pink."
They all went outside to play capture the flag. In the end, team green won.
Sorry for the short chapter! This ones a bit boring but it'll get better!
