Umbrella

Trigger warning if you don't like people speaking about vomit I suggest you don't read this part or just skip the parts mentioning it

Today was another rainy day
So we all had umbrellas pulled out Tanjiro was sharing one with his sister
And I had one to myself
The rain was pouring down really fast
Causing gigantic puddles to form on the concrete roads
And waterfalls of rain slid into the rain gutters
There was rain EVERYWHERE
The rain was pouring down so fast that the small puddles turned into lakes not literally but the puddles were very large
There wasn't thunder or lightning thank goodness
But the amount of rain was almost worst then that

We finally arrived at school
And tons of people dashed into the school seeking shelter from the rain
Mr. Tomioka who usually stood out by the gate was no where to be seen, meaning the rain was even too bad for him to stand out there

Not to mention it was super cold the wind was blowing pretty hard to and I felt bad for Tanjiro because he didn't wear a jacket that day not many people did as the rain started just when most students started walking to school

The walk had been long and tiring and my legs felt cold
The puddles we had walked through where so deep that the end of my pantleg was soaked wet

I was so happy when we finally made it in
And I'm sure everyone else was too

As soon as I got in I tried to squeeze as much water out of my pant leg as possible

Then me and tanjiro and Nezuko walked to class together
While walking to class I noticed that Tanjiro started looking kind of pale all of a sudden

But I shrugged it off as the lighting inside the school making him look that way

We made it to class and we sat down
And started going on about our day
Then came lunch time
Me and Tanjiro and his sister sat together
I would have asked Inosuke to join us but apparently he was sick that day which amazed me because this guy almost never got sick

"You guys I kind of feel nauseous" Tanjiro says out of nowhere

"You should probably tell Mr. Tomioka then I replied

"I-i can't Zenitsu I think i-im going to throw up-" he said while looking almost green"

Then before he could get up he started vomiting
Everyone turned to look at him and then everybody instantly wanted to look away and forget that they saw and smelled and heard someone vomiting Niagara falls out of their mouth

Some students looked away in digust while others gasped or screamed the word EWWWW

As for me I wanted to vomit after seeing him vomiting up his half digested food yet at the same time I felt bad for him because seconds later nothing was coming out of him and he was in pain

His sister rushed to his side to try to hold his hair back atleast as the people who wanted to help rushed to bring a trash can to him so he could vomit in it

I went over to his other side to try to help or atleast ask him if he was going to be okay while trying my best not to throw up with him because of how disgusting it was

A student ran off to go get Mr.Tomioka to come and help him
Minutes later he was told to go back home

So he grabbed his umbrella and went back home

The day was coming to a end
And we had just finished cleaning time but just before I had the time to pack up and leave one of the teachers asked me to bring some papers downstairs to the teachers room

And so I did by the time I was finished though almost no one was there all of then had ran home trying to get back to their houses and warm up

I went back upstairs to the classroom and realized their was someone still there

It was Nezuko chan

"Oh Nezuko your still here?"

"Yeah... I'm waiting for the rain to stop, when Tanjiro went back home today he took the umbrella that me and him we were sharing back with him"

"Oh that's unfortunate... I mean.. I have a umbrella if you were interested in sharing it with me" I said while feeling a little flustered

"Really..? You'd be willing to do that? Okay then sure I'll share it with you if you don't mind

"I don't mind at all!" I said happily

"Okay then!"

I was happy I would be able to walk home with her I was also happy that I could help her out

We left the school and I couldn't turn to face her because I was too flustered

Isn't this the type of thing that happens in those romance movies?

I thought to myself

We walked home trying to avoid as many lakes (puddles) as possible

Then we finally reached her house

"Nezuko chan make sure that you don't get sick like your brother okay?" I said calmly

" I'll try my best not to" she said back to me

"Also thanks for walking me home and sharing your umbrella with me it was really kind of you I really appreciated that thank you" she said gratefully

"Also, Zenitsu our family owns a bakery since you were so nice to me today if you ever happen to stop by the bakery I'd being willing to give you something free of charge as my thanks" she said happily

"That's really nice of you Nezuko chan, but I only did what felt right I'd never want to leave you stranded at school for the rest of your evening" I said joyfully

"Still I'd like to pay you back some how maybe we could go out for lunch some time during lunch break and I can pay for you." She said cutely

OH MY GOSH IS THAT HER WAY OF A-ASKING ME OUT ON A D-D-DATE?????!!!!!
I thought to myself
How could I reject this offer? It might just be me misunderstanding her like I usually do but maybe she actually wants to go on a date with me?
It's probably not a date but still!!!!!
