Enmu's pov:

I'm falling. The earrings in my hands escape and fall too. I try to reach them, but I couldn't. I was falling into the darkness. 'What's happening?!' I thought. "Help!" I tried to scream. But no one responded. Just the echo of my voice. My heart is racing, my eyes all over the place, trying to figure out coronates. I need to get those earrings. If I die and don't have those earrings I still won't be enough. I move every which way the grab the earrings but they were falling faster then me. "Damn it!" I yelled. What if I die, someone finds my body, but doesn't find the earrings?! They need to get the earrings at least. I need to die holding the earrings so sir muzan knows I did good. I did do good, right? I have to make sir muzan proud.

Eventually I hit the ground only to be waking up in a weird bed. I look around at my surroundings. I look over to the desk and find the earrings and quickly grab them. I hoped out of bed but quickly fell. I was injured. I gain my balance and stand up. "Where were you trying to go?" I heard someone say behind me. I jump to the sudden sound and quickly turn around. I knew the voice sounded familiar. "K-kayzen!" I got up and hugged him. He didn't hug me back. Instead, he pushed me off. I sighed. 'He's probably mad about me rejecting him..' I thought to myself. I looked down.

"What happened..?" I asked him. He sighed. "Well, I was waking back to my base after killing demon slayers when I saw you laying on the ground of the forest. You were unconscious. The sun was rising and you could've died. So I quickly took action and brought you here. You were injured and hurt so I bandaged you up. And laid you on my bed. You were out cold for 3 days as-well. But You were holding tight to those earrings. Are they special?" He told me.
I smiled slightly knowing he recused me. "Yes, very important. I was order by sir muzan to kill that demon slayer with these earrings, and I did it so now I have to show these to him!" I exclaimed.

He tried not to make eye contact with me. It was award silence until he asked, "listen...did you actually love me?" You could hear the sorrow within his voice.
"Oh kayzen..of course I loved you. I loved you dearly. I swear I did! But as much as I loved you, I loved someone else at the same time. I'm deeply sorry." I told him, speaking from my heart.
"I see." He was still looking down. "Well, this might be the last time you hear from me anyway. I think it's better we stop talking for a while. I need to think things through for myself. I'll take you back to your place and that's final.." his voice had a mixture of sadness, anger, and regret. I nodded and gave him another hug for a thank you. This time he hugged me back. "Let's get going." He said.

"Okay."
