The charity part 2 (8)

Isabella's POV:

More and more guests start arriving. I'm standing with Angelo when I finally see him. It hasn't been that long but it feels like months. It's not him who startled me it was the person beside him. Issac.

As i'm about to run to him Angelo grabs my arm stopping me. I turn around with tears almost forming in my eyes.

The look on his face shows pity for a split second .He says "Isabella not right now focus you can have a family reunion when this is over"

I sigh and walk closer to him and let out a breath. "okay" I turn back around facing my brother and father. There eyes are scanning the room and then my fathers gaze meets mine and he looks angry.

I just hope I wasn't better off dead than crossing my own father for our enemy to save my brother. I stare him dead in the eye glaring . He grabs Issacs arm and starts walking towards us. Shit.

Issac looks at him like he's a maniac until he realizes who they're walking towards. It's taking them a while since they were all the way across the room. I look up at Angelo and he nods. I take off towards Issac.

When I reach him the tears finally fall as my baby brother is holding me in his arms. I pull back and wipe my tears there are no words.

I just look at him and smile. Since we are in the corner of the room and no one is paying attention my dad takes it upon him to grab a fistful of my hair and drag me so i'm facing him.

Before I can even snatch his arm off me Angelo's hand is already on my dads arm and he says "let her go" He growls and let's go. Issac rushes to my side and we're just watching the conversation him and Angelo are having.

"You little bitch you should've never been born it should've only been Issac. Maybe then your mother would be alive. Angelo why is she even alive she is worthless."

I can see Angelo getting angrier by the second. "Elijah you said I can do whatever I want with her so mind your fucking business"

That's a shock that's the first time I heard of this. It's currently  6:00pm. Just one more hour until I can end this bastards life.

He chuckles "yes I see your using her for personal gain." My dad is sick and twisted and apparently retarded if he thinks I would ever let someone use me.

Things die down so I have only a few minutes to reassure Issac to stay clear and I know what i'm doing.

I pull him aside and whisper "look I don't have long but I have a plan to get rid of dad and Angelo and his men are in on it of course with dad gone that makes you don I am just preparing you ahead but after all this I have to go back with Angelo."

Issac has tears brimming his eyes that's the first time I seen emotion on his face tonight. "I don't understand but sis you can't do this dad has a bunch of his men here they will take anyone down who stands in there way including you."

Shit. I think of something quick because i'm running out of time "As soon as dads dead you'll be don you have to call them off and take control." Just as those last words leave my mouth Issac looks up.

I turn around and I am relieved to say it's Angelo telling Issac wasn't part of the plan but I had to. His face has a warning expression on it but he forces a smile and says "care to dance?"

"I don't have a choice do I?"

"no" he grits out.

We make our way to the dance floor and I put my hand on his shoulder and his his hands go where they should. He looks around cautiously and says "can you trust him" He's willing to trust me that's a first. "yes but we have a problem"

His gaze darkens "What"

I take a deep breath and tell him what Issac told me how my fathers men were everywhere and I pointed out some of the ones I recognized.

" I told Issac what he needs to do you just have to trust me Angelo." He looks like he's trying to decide weather to trust me or not.

"It's not that I don't trust you I don't trust him"

I sigh but unfortunately I understand where he is coming from Issac is still very young and he could freeze. "I know but I trust him so trust that I am right to put my trust in him"

He sighs and eventually nods. We are just dancing to the classic music that's softly playing. When the music stops we go are separate ways. He goes to catch up with Dante and Scott while I go get another strawberry.

Elijah and Issac are standing together but I keep seeing Issac glance my way every few minutes. He's worried. I'm not its just like another mission. Kill and get out.

Its 6:30pm. Almost time I meet up with Scott to go over the plan again he hands me an earpiece and we are all set.  Just time to wait.

I end up seeing people i've met before and they were surprised to see me because they heard rumors I was dead. It's not shocking to me. I got kidnapped and my father immediately disowned me telling people I was dead.

It's time I see Angelo walking up to my father. So I slide in the shadows until i'm behind dad but not seen.

Angelo starts talking and my breath speeds up and he says "See I don't like the way you treat your daughter"

Elijah chuckles and says "she mine my daughter and I can do whatever I want with her and now we have a contract saying you can't.Don't tell me your falling for her."

Something about his last words makes my chest queasy.

"I know I can't do nothing about it but the contract said nothing about her." As he said those words tears started slipping but I push through and hold a gun to his head firmly

He looks at me in shock, and Issac is just standing there frozen.

"you foolish girl you weak, pathetic you know your not going to pull the trigger you should've been dead you don't deserve to live you have failed me and think i'd still take you as my daughter you disgust me your worthless your going to end up just like your mother in h-"

Before he finishes his sentence I pull the trigger and then I finally break down. His words don't normally affect me but this time they did. Issac rushes to my side. I look up and see a gun pointed at Angelo. I tell Issac "do it"

He's sitting here frozen. Fuck. I hear the gun click and it's my fathers right hand man holding the gun. I get out of Issacs grip and run in-front of Angelo.

I hear the shot but everything is fuzzy and I loose my balance but as I fall Angelo catches me.  I finally hear Issac say "izzy" then he yells "STAND DOWN BUT YOUR GUNS DOWN I AM YOUR NEW DON AND YOU OBEY ME GETA DOCTOR ASAP AND FOR YOU BENITO YOUR A DEAD MAN" I feel Angelo's arm move and I hear another shot.

That's all I needed to hear. That was my release and I finally give into the darkness. There's nothing around me. I've been shot by my own famiglia but I'm lying in the hands of an enemy. If this is my last moment I am glad. Not only did I free my brother but I also saved Angelo.

Maybe this was why I was kidnapped. Instead of being put on this earth to harm and kill people. It was all to save others. It's the wooziness talking. Because this isn't the end of my story. Is it?
