Jennie's POV
I look at myself in the mirror, smiling is satisfaction. Last night my mom told me that she invited her boyfriend for a dinner,and now the time came, I can't wait to meet him.
My dad left my mom when I was thirteen, and she take care of me all by herself,but she's an independent woman, who can work everything without saying "women shouldn't do this work".
And I am so happy for her that she find a new boyfriend now, as long as she's happy, I am happy too.
While I was putting on my earrings I heard the doorbell ringing, I smile at myself one more time and walk down the stairs. I wore a white shirt which is like a bathrobe design and white heels. And a silver earring which is a gift from my CEO ex, he is obsessed with me and also an overprotective dude which annoys me, I can't even hangout with my female friends and there's no chance for my male friends.
As I want my own freedom I break up with him,even though I still have some feelings for him. I was 21 at that time and he's 25, now it's been 3 years so he might be 28 by now.
"Jennie!"
My mom yelled from the kitchen,offt I already thought she open the door!
"I got it!"
I yelled back and walk to the door and open it to see the person which I wished I would never see again. My smile soon turned into a frown as I see my ex, Park Jimin, who is obsessed with me, or used to be obsessed with me?
"Aren't you going to let me in?"
He asked,his deep voice still send shivers down my spine. So this dude is my mom's boyfriend?!
Oh my god how did Park Jimin even win my mom's heart?
I sighed and shift to the right, giving him a space to come in, he walk pass me with a smirk on his face,his strong aura fill up my nose.
Why do I feel like I miss him so much?
Geez Jennie do you forget how annoying he was?
I shake my head lightly and close the door and follow Jimin.
My mom make her way out from the kitchen and smile when she saw Jimin.
"You're here already?"
My mom asked as she peck Jimin on the cheek, I feel something wrong with me but I don't know what is it called. Ooft shake it off Jennie he's your mom's boyfriend. Not the old Jimin. After introducing to each other like we didn't know each other,we sit on the dining room. Having a nice dinner together.
"Jennie we planned on getting married the next week"
My mom said, holding Jimin hand while I choke on the food, Jimin land his hand on my back and tap my it lightly while my mom pass me a cup of water.
I cough and drink the water,glancing at
Jimin because he still has his hand on my back.
"I um- that's so fast don't you think?"
I asked, Jimin grinned and shake his head.
"I love your mom and she loves me, that is what matters. Right?"
He turned to my mom who nods her head and smile at Jimin. I can't do nothing but agree with it.
Jimin didn't visit my place again after that night,and I don't want to admit it but the feelings inside me grew bigger for him. I am literally going insane right now.
*Marriage date*
"I do"
Jimin said calmly,and right after that the pastor let them kiss, it looks passionate and a part of me don't like the scene so I look away.
Everything feels so awkward for me,my 1 year boyfriend who is obsessed with me is now marrying my mom.
