Dad's Best Friend

The Day After Thanksgiving - Goodbye, Liv

Liv slowly woke up, feeling muscular arms around her body, she rubbed her eyes before taking in the sight in front of her.

Fitz was still sleeping, his hair a little messy as a small curl laid on his forehead.

Liv looked around and then down at herself, realizing she was naked as well as Fitz.

"Shit.", she whispered and slowly sat up on her bed, before getting up, a had grabbed her wrist gently, "Where are you going?", he sked sleepily.

She looked over at him, "Fitz we have to get up, my dad is probably home.", she said quietly, secretly freaking out about what just happened with her dad's best friend.

He looked around and sighed, "Alright.", they got up and gathered their clothes off the floor, Liv put on her shirt, now fully clothed as well as Fitz.

She turned around to look at him, they stood there, looking at each other for a few. "We can't tell him about this.", Liv spoke up, "Okay. We won't.", Fitz agreed, nodding his head.

"Okay.", she nodded and folded her hands in front of her. He nodded once again before walking to her bedroom door, unlocking it but before he could exit the room, Liv turned him around and kissed him softly.

His hands rested on her hips, pulling her closer as he kissed her soft lips. She slowly pulled away and looked into his soft blue eyes, "I'll see you for breakfast.", she said before walking into her bathroom, closing the door, he sighed and walked out her room, entering the guest room where he usually slept in the house.

Liv leaned back against the door, touching her lips as she could still taste and feel his lips on hers.

She smiles widely to herself but quickly stopped herself, she shook her head and got undressed before getting in the shower, trying to wash off his scent.

Fitz also took a shower, playing what happened last night in his mind over and over again.

They loved each other. They just couldn't say it out loud or express their love for one another.

They quickly got dressed after their showers. Liv just putting on sweats and a hoodie. Fitz has some extra clothes in the closet for when he would stay the night, throwing on some jeans and a t-shirt.

Fitz headed downstairs before Liv, greeting Eli and helping with breakfast before he had to leave.

Eli came back home around 2 AM, knowing they were sleep and didn't want to bother them so he just went in his room and fell asleep, not knowing his daughter and his best friend were sleeping in the same bed, let aloe just has sex.

Liv eventually came downstairs and helped set the table, staying quiet, Fitz was a little quiet but talked with Eli a little, Eli didn't mind, he just thought they were tired from yesterday.

They all took their seats and began to eat, Eli made an amazing breakfast as always, making waffles, eggs, and bacon with orange juice or coffee.

The room was mainly quiet, Liv and Fitz were too busy thinking about last night and Eli was too bust thinking about his dinosaur bones. 

After everyone was finished with their food, they cleaned and washed up. It was time for Fitz to leave, Liv offered to walk him out, quietly walking to the door,

He put his shoes and coat on, opening the door before looking at Olivia, she got teary eyed, she didn't want him to leave, not just yet.

She placed her hand on his cheek, rubbing her soft thumb against his skin, "I'll see you later.", she whispered before kissing his cheek, he nodded and kissed her cheek back, "Goodbye, Livvie.".

He walked out and walked to his car, getting in and driving off. A tear rolled down Liv's cheek, quickly wiping it and slowly closing the door.

The rest of the fay was pretty boring, Eli has to head back to work leaving Liv by herself which made her extremally lonely, which made her think about him the whole day.

She sat on her bed around 8 PM, still home alone as her phone ranged, thinking it was her father, she quickly paused her movie and answered her phone, "Hey dad.".

"Well hello Olivia.", it wasn't her dad, which made her eyes widen slightly, "Fitz.. h-hi.", "Oh sorry, didn't mean to scare you.", he felt bad, 'was it a bad time?', he thought.

"No, no, it's okay. What's up?", she asked, setting her laptop aside, "Nothing, I just... I miss you Livvie.", he felt sad without her, like last night made his feeling 1000 times more than it was.

She closed her eyes and sighed deeply, "I miss you too Fitz, but we can't do this, it isn't fair to my dad.", he sighed sadly, he knew she was right but he loved her, no much how much he tried to deny it.

"Goodbye, Liv.", he said before hanging up. Her hand slid down onto her bed with her phone as tears rolled down her caramel cheeks quickly.

Laying down and curling up as she sobbed, wanting this nightmare to end. Feeling like he was fading away.
