Apple's pov
I walked in to my brothers office and saw my bro and and a strange but cute and sexy lady standing right infront of him. I chuckled and went into the office.
"What's going on here bro?"I asked
"Like who is this girl?"
"What are you doing here?" He asked as he turned and walked up to his desk
" I actually came to visit my bro"I responded
"Is the a problem with that?"
"You could have told me before coming"he said
I turned and stared at the lady that was standing by the corner there. She looked so friendly and nice to be with. I'm pretty sure my bro was scolding her or maybe flirting with her before I arrived. Bad boy....
"So who's the hottie?" I asked as he quirked an eyebrow
"Oh her, that's my personal assistant" he responded
"A personal assistant indeed" I said
"I'm Apple" I said as I stretched out my hand for a handshake
"I'm Jennifer but my friends call me Jenny" she said with her angelic voice as she received the handshake
"Nice to meet you Jenny"I said as we dropped our hands down
"Nice to meet you too, Apple" she said as she took two more steps backward to return to her position
"What would you like to have?" She asked in a distance
"Don't stress your self" I said
" Bro I came to show you my boyfriend"
He looked at me sternly and ordered the lady to leave
" I haven't approved you to have a boyfriend, so whatsoever you think you are feeling for him, let it end now" he said
"But Ceaser" I said
"No buts okay, now get out" he yelled as I got up and walked to the door and jerked it open
"Make sure you end that feelings" he said
" You're such a dick" I said and banged the door behind me
Jenny's pov
" I know how you feel " I said as she quirked an eyebrow at me
" No you don't " she said as I sat right next to her
"Of course I do, I know how it feels when he yells at someone" I said as she steadied a gaze at me
" He never seems to understand that I'm matured enough to make decisions for myself" she said
" No elder brother does" I said as she chuckled
" He need a to learn a lesson" she said
" So what you going do?" I asked
" I'm going kiss Rex right infront of him" she said
" Then you wanna wake the sleeping lion up" I said as she giggled
" Indeed a sleeping lion" she said as I smiled
" Got to go"
" Yeah that's right,I'll just head to my office" I said as she smiled
" It was a pleasure meeting you" she said as she hugged me tight and left .
I left the spot we were standing and started walking further when I heard someone screaming my name, I turned and saw Apple running to me and screaming my name.
"Jenny" she called while still running.
" Yeah " I responded as I walked further again. She halted infront of me
" Uhm..... I forgot to get your contact" she said
" Oh yeah'' I said as I got her cell phone and wrote my phone number into it .
" Thanks" she said as she ran and left again.
" Spending time with a lion" I said as I turned and headed for my office.
FIVE MINUTES LATER
I was in my office when the was another knock on the door
"Come in "I said faintly as the door went opened and the same lady walked in
" The boss sends for you again" she said
"Ugh..... This is the six time he's calling for me" I said exhaustedly
What a stress, I needed someone to just baptize me with a chill water cause I could feel my skin burning and sweat dripping down like water dripping from a damp T-shirt. I waited so much for the time for break to at least reach but it seemed to be so delaying. KILL ME RIGHT NOW. I felt like dying a s I sluggishly got up from my seat, mopped my face with my handkerchief, gathered up the files I was s done working on and left for his office. I knocked on the door and finally he permitted me inside
" You sent for me sir" I said as he nodded
"Yes have a seat" he said as I grabbed a seat and sat
That was all he said as he made me sit there and watch him work. I spent my long awaiting been there and didn't even take in anything till 2:00 I hadn't taken anything as lunch. Work was closed as he asked me to grab him some chips.i left and grabbed him the chips
Ok fine now we were the only people remaining in the company. I felt like actually stabbing this guy cause I was absolutely ravenous.
" When for goodness sake will this dude be done with this fucking work" I kept contemplating till I finally saw him piling up the files he was working on. It was indeed a thing of joy as we both got up and left the company.
We went to a parking lot and he saw only his car parked there
" You didn't come with a vehicle,did you?" He asked
"Nope I didn't, didn't want to drive" I said
"Care for a lift?" He asked as I stared at him
" Nope don't worry, I'll take a cab" I said nervously
"Stop pulling up and get in" he said as I starred at him
" Go on get in" he said as he opened the door for me
" Like I said don't worry, I'll take a cab" I said still trying to prove stubborn
" For goodness sake will you stop probing stubborn and get in" he yelled as I jerked in fear and nervously walked towards the car
" Get in" he added as I quickly entered the car. He shut the door and got into the car. He zoomed off.....
Well well well.
Here comes the end of the first day....
