DANA'S POV (The Next Morning)
I woke up on Cole's couch. We all fell asleep Dalton in the guest bedroom. Cole in his. Will and Gabe on the floor and Aera, I really don't know. I got up and I walked to the kitchen and got a glass of water. I walk out into the livingroom. Trying not to wake Will or Gabe.
I walk around the corner. And see something behind the couch. I look back there and see Aera silently sleeping, I chuckled to myself. She was so perfect. Everything. Even when she has a bun in and a sweatshirt and sweats. She is still beautiful. And I can never have her again. I fucked up so bad.
I saw her stirring. I walk away to look like I wasn't watching her. I quietly walk back to her with a blanket.
"Morning. What are you doing back here?" I smile
She opens her eyes a bit and giggles. "I've been awake."
"Oh.."
"Creeping on me? Hah!" She laughed
"No I was wondering why you were back here. And I went to get you a blanket. You looked cold."
"Oh. Well, I'm kinda stuck. Help?"
I hold out my hand and help her out. I pull her to her feet. "There you go."
"Thanks." She smiles
"No problem." I sit back down on the couch on lean on the arm rest, Aera sits on the opposite part of it. She goes on her phone. She positions it to take a photo of me.
"Hey." I smile. "What are you doing?"
"Instagraming."
"Noooo." I cover my head. "I don't have a hat on."
"I like you better without it. You look fine without it. Your hair is apart of your personality." She looks down "Which I love."
I smile "I love yours too. And that's why..." I take my phone and take a quick photo of her.
"Nooooo. I have no makeup on and my hair is in a bun. Nooo." She shields her face.
"You look beautiful already." She looks at me. "It's part of your personality which I Love."
She smiles and looks at me. I smile back.
The world just seemed to have stopped. I leaned in she did too.
Inches apart. And I hear rustling from the floor and see Will and Gabe both waking up. We both pull away.
"Um..I'm gonna go to the bathroom.." She got up and walked to the bathroom.
Did that really almost happen?
