"So are you going to tell me what that was all about?"I asked Blake with my hands on my waist.
"It was nothing,she was only telling me about the new deal she had"he says coolly.
"And why did she have to tell you? You aren't her husband"I snapped.
"Calm down babe"he sighs and walks to me,he pull me into his opened arms and kisses my hair.
"Harriet and I have been friends for a long time,we are very good friends. Besides you don't have to worry about anything,you are the one I am beginning to have feelings for"he says making my heart skip a beat.
"I like you so much Blake and this whole thing is forbidden and I am afraid someone might take you away from me"I tell him truthfully.
"When I said I wanted to see where this goes,I really meant it Ireal. You are slowly beginning to awake lost feelings inside me, feelings I thought I would never have again"he says and then pecks my lips.
I kissed him,it was a short a simple kiss,we needed to be careful of our surroundings.
"I have been meaning to ask you something. Actually two things"I say after we broke apart.
Blake went back to packing his papers while I sat in the couch and waited for him.
"Ask away"he smiles.
"Well,you remember the dinner at my house,I know I am being nosy as fuck but...I noticed the tension in your family, especially between you and your brother . Also you mentioned you had a sister but I haven't seen her before"I rant.
"Well my nosy woman,you are correct about the tension between us. My brother and I had big fall out years back,it was so messy my family broke apart. But I am trying to reconcile with my dad and sister. She lives in Paris now,she is a lawyer and I am thinking about visiting her this Christmas",he explains.
"And your brother. Don't you think it is time to finally reconcile with each other"I tell him.
"I don't think it would be a good idea at this moment. Besides he thinks I am a threat to his family. So it is best I focus on those who I actually care about",he tells me,
"Your brother is such a pain in the ass. But I am glad you told me. I know in due time you'll tell me what really happened"I smiled
"Okay,so what is the second thing you wanted to ask"he says changing the topic.
"Oh it is about the winter homecoming dance this Saturday. I was thinking I could spend the night at your place after the dance. Don't worry I already told my mom"I say nervously
"Are you sure about this?"he asks with a raised eyebrow.
"I am ,if you are"I say.
"I don't have a problem with that babe. But what about your father,you said you told only your mom"he asks taking his bag and slanging it on his shoulders.
