We were about 25,000 feet in the air, and traveling at 75 miles per hour. It was only 15 minutes throughout the trip.
"Okay, so Bruce informed me that we are around 40 miles away from Cariboo Island," said Carlomi.
"I didn't know the place was so far," I stated. "Just so you know, we actually have the Cariboo board game laying around in the Staraether Palace game room. I found the map, and it's supposed to say to make up a story for this island."
Carlomi turned his co-pilot over as if he were finding that interesting. "No, we aren't there yet, Bruce." he said. "Please be patient."
We started to wonder what it would be like at Cariboo Island. They say it would be a magical place where anything can happen. The island is best known for its tresure, which hunters of this multiverse tried to, but have failed because they can't find the orbs that go with it. Not even a museum has displayed Cariboo's treasure!
"Does the map look accurate to the actual island?" Quigley asked. I let him take a closer look.
Minutes before the helicopter started to land, the four brainiacs we rescued, Data Head, Creative Cat, Word Worm and Star Preformer, were camping on the island, roasting sausages over the campfire they set.
"And here's cheers to the shine and magic we lend to every party we host!" Said Star Preformer, raising her skewer in toast.
The four Cranium Friends raised their skewers in toast.
"Legends, we have the grandest buns upon this island," said Word Worm, preparing the sausages.
When the helicopter landed, we started to smell something good feet away from us.
"This treasure hunt may take a couple of days." I said. "What time is it, Carlomi?"
Carlomi pretended that Bruce checked the time. "It's 4:30 PM," said Carlomi. "Thanks, Bruce. We can't stay here all day, so Bruce and I will go back to Staraether City. Have fun with that treasure hunt!" When we walked away, Carlomi drove the helicopter away.
"What is that good smell, professor?" Lazlo asked. "Sausage? Sausage!" Lazlo ran straight where the smell came from.
We proceeded to follow Lazlo. In a heartbeat, we saw those four crazy guys hangin' around beside the fire.
"Hey, guys!" I greeted, opening my arms and wings.
Star Preformer wound up lovingly tackling me, causing me to land on my back. "Boys! Boys! Boys! It's them! It's Spyra and her Cartoon Heroes!"
"Hello, Spyra. Long time, no see," said Creative Cat, as him and I shook paws.
"Hello, Hola, Aloha, Ni-Hao, Bonjour and Konichiwa to you." Worm Worm greeted. "Apologies to confuzzle you all, but I tend to be a language nerd."
"Welcome to Cariboo Island!" Greeted Data Head. "Though we obviously don't reside here, we do take vacations here. I wanted to invite all six of you to help us open that treasure chest beside our campsite." Data showed us the treasure chest and treasure orb that he and his pals found on the island. "It does not open, because we don't have all six treasure orbs yet."
"I will help!" said Lemmy, bulging in by picking up the treasure orb, and slaming it against the chest. That didn't tend to work. "Gee, these orbs won't bust no matter how much you pound them."
Everyone just stared at each other because of what Lemmy said.
"Excuse me, Data Head. How do we find the treasure orbs?"
Just then, two giant blue caterpillars started to emerge out of nowhere.
"Golly, are they gon'na steal yo' hot dogs?" Ballyhoo asked.
The caterpillars started to attack us.
"Leaping Linguistics!" Professor Quigley cried, drawing his Plasma Katana, attacking a caterpillar with it.
We all began to work together to take down the caterpillars. I dodged their attacks, and attacked with my sharp claws and blue fire breath. I also went as far as strangling one. The caterpillar curled up in a ball and disintegrated. A treasure orb didn't come out of it, however.
Everybody else went against it, even Quigley stabbing the caterpillar with his Plasma Katana.
While beating that big, grubby beast senseless, Data Head shouted me some advice. "Spyra, there is a key in the larger tent! Quick! Jam this big thing with it!"
I looked around the tents in the campground. Looking for a short while, I found the key in plain sight.
"Look out, big thing!" I teased, while I came running with the key. Using it as a spear to puncure the caterpillar, finally dissolving.
Upon its death, the caterpillar choked out a treasure orb.
"Two down, four to go," said Komodo.
