Rhaenyra was pregnant with her first child

That night in the brothel with Daemon didn't go as planned

But something was different about this pregnancy not because it was her first

It is because it wouldn't stop raining

From little sprinkling to full on storm

It would stop

The people believed that the gods were angry at the princess

But it was the opposite actually

The Gods celebrating

Because the babe in Rhaenyra Targaryen is the voice they have been waiting for

Rhaenyra groans at the pain in her bottom half

"Just a few more pushes Princess" Midwife says

Rhaenyra screams as she pushes

The sky thunders and lightning strikes across the sky

"It's getting bad out there" one of the midwifes says looking out the window

"I can't I can't" Rhaenyra pants in pain

"You have to because this child is a gift from the gods" the Midwife says making Rhaenyra nod in determination

Rhaenyra screams and pushes one last time

A baby's cry fill the room making the people sigh in relief

But the thing that shocks them the most was

The skies were clearing

The storm clouds were moving on

Because the child was born

Rowan who was nine at the time was running away from her mother

"You have to wear your shoes!" Rhaenyra yells after her daughter

"If the Gods wished for me to wear shoes then I would've been born with them on my feet" Rowan yells while still running

Rhaenyra sighs not knowing what to do

Rowan runs all the way to the stables to see her favorite stallion

She goes into the stable to see the horse who matches the darkness of the night sky

"Hello Maximus" Rowan says smiling and Maximus neighs in response

"I have brought you an apple" Rowan says holding the apple out to the gentle giant who eats it

"Princess" Rowan hears a voice

"Hello ser Harwin" Rowan says turning around

"You are not allowed to be in the stables by yourself. What if you scared him and he hurt you" Harwin asks
