We make our way towards the library. We walk in and Griffins eyes sparkle.
He runs his hand against the bookshelf. He wonders to the back of the library. He sits down in front of a book. I check the spine. And shut enough the exact book we were looking for was on the shelf in front of us. I gently pull out the book.
"Thank you, Griffin," I smile at him. "No problem!" He smiles back.
We wonder back to the front of the library. I stop in front of the front desk. "Find anything?" She smiles at me. "Yeah, I did," I smile back placing the book on her desk. "Nobody has checked this book out in forever- except Griffin that is, he was a sweet kid," sh sighs. "Griffin is amazing, I know him from school," I smile back at her.
She scans the book as I hand her my library card. "Bye kid," she says softly. "Bye miss," I respond walking out the door.
"That's my man you were talking about," Billy says to me. "I know, chill. I like someone else," I tell him and blush. "Wait wha-" a smirk appears on his face, "does he happen to be obsessed with bandanas?"
"Maybe- guess you'll never know," I smirk at him. "I think I already do," he responds. "I would love to keep this wonderful conversation, but the suns setting and we still need Robbins bandana," she says and rolls her eyes.
We walk to the convenience store.
