Twin sister?

I woke up this morning to find my mum stretched out on the the couch ,a bottle of alcohol on the table nearly empty . When she saw me , she stood up . That's was when I saw the anger in her eyes .
"Where we're you yesterday ? " She asked
I felt my throat closing up . I wasn't afraid of her but I was afraid of her getting too angry and hitting me .
"Are you deaf or are you going to answer me ?"
"I went out "
"To where?"
"That's none of your business "
She came up to me and grabbed my shirt . "I am your mother ,you are going to answer me when I talk to you ."
"You sure don't act like it " then she slapped me .
"Don't talk to me like that ever like that again "
"Why not ? . You get drunk all the time ,and when we need you the most ,your never there .you hit us like we're your personal punching bags and you expect me to give you the respect you want and call you my mother ?" I felt the tears surfacing .
"What do you mean ? I cared for you and your sister when your dad left ! I took care of you and your sister and this is how you repay me ?"
I didn't know what to say so I ran out , I ran and ran until my feet hurt and I came across a park . I sat on the bench and the tears started to fall .i put my head in my laps and let it all out .when I felt ok ,I sat up wiping the remaining tears from my face . I was pretty sure my eyes were red and puffy now .i scanned the park for anything I could do to get my mind off of things ,when I spotted Kota and his dog . We made brief eye contact and I saw a look of concern in his eyes as he walked over . " Hey ,you okay? , you look like you've been crying "
"Yeah"
"You want to talk about it ?"
"It's a long story "I wiped my nose and he handed a tissue .
"Thanks " I said and blew my nose with it . I handed it back to him . He raised an eyebrow and collected it with the tip of his fingers .he flicked it to his dog,who ripped it up.
"I've got the time "
I explained everything to him .that is ,how my dad left us ,my mum becoming an alcoholic ,the hitting and about the fight that just happened .
"Wow . That's deep "
"Yeah "
" Why didn't you just move away "
" Well,it's not that simple .im just 16 and I don't know any other relatives "
"Oh. " It was quite for a bit . " You know my family's not so perfect either "
"How's that?"
" Well.... When I was younger I had a twin sister ."
"Really ?"
" Mm-hmm . When We were 5 ,she had a brain tumor .we found out too late and pop! She's dead "
"I'm sorry "
" It's okay . Anyways ,that's when my dad left . I was devastated and for a while I was so lonely . That's when I meet Nathan and I became tighter to my mum " I was speechless then . "Ok then . Enough of the sad talk . Let's play "
Kota took off with max ( his dog ) and I followed . We played for a while and when we got tired we went to get some ice cream .
" You know after our little talk ,I fell a lot closer to you " Kota said as we sat down on a park bench ."
"Really ?"
"Yeah "
"Well me too"
We sat in silence for a while ,enjoying our ice cream . It wasn't awkward it was comfortable .
" You wanna hang out with Nathan and me tomorrow "
"Sure . Where ?"
" Yes !!! I mean yes , I would love to but what about aria "
"You can bring her "
"Ok then I'll see you tomorrow "
We both stood up ." So I'm coming over to your place first ?"
"Yes"
" See you tomorrow "
When I got home my mom was nowhere in sight .thank God for that . So I went up to Aria's  room . She was on her bed reading a book .  "Hey"
"Hi"
"Do you want to go to the beach with me , Nathan and Kota tomorrow ?"
"Yes !!"
" Ok then , make sure your ready tomorrow morning "
"Good night" I said as I gave her a kiss .
I walked across the hall to my room .
