The only characters I claim ownership are the ones that I have created for narrative purposes, i.e. OCs. They all belong to their respective owners, though I suggest you check out these properties to both quench your own curiosity and to support the creators. If you see any spelling, grammatical, or narrative errors please let me know. I also allow constructive criticism because it allows me to improve my writing skills and to make this story better. Story Start

"Oh man, oh man this is not good." Spider-Man muttered out.

The web-slinger watched as his comrades, the Avengers, got their butts kicked by Kang the Conqueror. Iron man and War Machine had their suits heavily damaged. Captain America was on the ground in pain, along with Black Widow and Hawkeye. Falcon's wing pack was busted. Wolverine was pinned down. Captain Marvel and Spider-Woman were beaten badly. Wasp was trapped inside an energy bubble with She-Hulk. Things were going bad for Earth's mightiest heroes. 

"You cannot stop me, Avengers. Once I have gathered enough quantum energy, the multiverse will be mine to rule." Kang boasted. Behind him was a machine that was building up large amounts of Quantum energy.

"Not if we stop you first." Captain America said defiantly, despite that he was injured. 

"Oh Rogers, you have already lost." Kang said as he fired a laser at the sentinel of liberty. 

Steve quickly brought his shield up to deflect the beam, only for the force to send him flying. The other remaining Avengers saw this and rushed at Kang, ready to hit him with everything they got. However, Kang's shield had managed to block the attack and the conqueror shot them all with a beam. They tried to attack once again but only to be met with the same results. While everyone was preoccupied, Spider-Man stood in the corner trying to think of a winning strategy. 

"Yeah, this is not good." Peter said. "Come on, Spidey, think, think!" The web-slinger said to himself as he tried to come up with a solution to beat Kang. Then he found it, the quantum engine. Peter spotted cables traveling along the floor and into Kang's back. 

That was it! That was giving Kang the edge over the Avengers! How no one noticed it before was beyond him. 

Peter stealthily and swiftly crawls along the walls of Kang's ship. Moving ever so closer to the Quantum Engine. With the 30th century villain being now the wiser. 

Once he reached the cables he grabbed a hold of them and pulled as hard as he could. Slowly, each cable started to give way. 

Kang smiles victoriously, these heroes had gotten more pathetic than the last time he fought them! His smile drops as he notices his equipment starts to malfunction. "What?!" He yelled.

Kang turns around to see Spider-Man ripping the cables. "Stop you foolish Arachnid! Do you have any idea what will happen if you destroy the quantum engine?!" Kang roared as he lunged at the wall-crawler. Fully intended to stop Spider-Man. 

With a final tug, Spider-Man ripped the cables off completely and turned around and smacked Kang with them. The quantum engine soon began to spark, with quantum energy leaking out of it.

Peter's Spider-Sense started to go off. "I feel like that was a bad idea." He said to himself as he slowly walked away from the engine.

The rest of the Avengers got up and saw that the Quantum Engine was about to implode.
