The Letter

The Granger household had a very unexpected day, Their youngest and only daughter hadn't spent much time with her parents as she has going to the library more than ever lately, Helen Granger had been in the kitchen making breakfast as Jack Granger had been cleaning up the table for breakfast. As soon as he was done, he looked over at his wife as he noticed that breakfast was done, which cause him to smile as he went upstairs to get his daughter from her room. Once he got up the stairs and walked down the hallway, he reached his daughters room. As he reached Hermione's door, he lifted his hand up to knock but before he could, the door opened on its own and revealed a little with brunette hair with bangs in front of her forehead and had bushy hair and brown eyes. Hermione stared up at her father with a smile as she spoke "Is breakfast done papa?" She asked sweetly before sniffing for food, Jack stared down at his daughter and nodded his head with a bit of shock from how she knew already. "Yes Hermione, let's go eat" he replied after he overcame his shock and turned to go downstairs with his daughter as she ran down the stairs with a smile on her face. Before Jack went into the kitchen he heard that the mail was here and went and opened the front door and looked around and looked at the ground and saw the mail and grabbed it but before he could shut the door, a small cat sneaked inside without Jack knowing. Helen had just finished putting food on everyone's plates before putting the pans in the sink, while her husband came back in and sat at the table as he put the mail in the middle of the table and began eating. Helen had just gotten to the table and sat down as she began eating and noticed the mail and grabbed it and noticed a very odd envelope. She looked at her daughters name on the letter and looked at her husband with a confused expression. Jack looked at his wife with a 'what' expression, as she rolled her eyes at his expression and gave him the envelope and looked at her daughter still very confused. Hermione noticed her mother's stare as she was eating then looked at her father who also happened to stare at her with a confused expression before he handed her the envelope, which she took hesitantly and looked on the front of it and saw her name and looked at her parents for approval to open the envelope and they both nodded before she started opening it and as soon as she pulled out a letter a small list also fell out as she started to read the letter. "Dear Mrs Granger, you've been accepted at the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry" she started as she looked at her parents with an excited expression before jumping out of her seat and gave her mum the letter. Her mum smiled at her daughters Excitement, while she looked at the letter then saw the cat in the room and got up surprised. The cat showed a little grin before transforming into a lady with a green dress and a green pointy hat. "ah that's better, Hello Mr and Mrs Granger, my name is Minerva McGonagall, I am a professor at Hogwarts, I am here to take all three of you to get school requirements for Mrs Hermione Granger." The lady finished with a smile as she looked at the family. Hermione was too excited to even speak to where she went and got her jacket and her shoes on instantly before going back in the kitchen and gave a warm shout "I'm ready let's go let's go!" She said as she looked at her parent's.
After their daughters excitement came into view, both Jack and Helen got their jackets and their shoes on as well. Minerva walked over to the door and opened it and led the family to where they're supposed to go.
