Asking for help-D.A.M.N. Bois

In advance, I would just like to say that this idea literally happened in my dream last night and I had to change a lot to make it make sense to FL instead of just me so if I doesn't make sense I'm sorry lol

*ugh, my head hurts like, really bad. I should probably go to the healers or something*

"Just stop being such a baby about it, it's just a headache." "You're fine, just stop complaining." Their parents words whispered in their mind

*Their probably right, it's just a headache. I'll just drink some water and hope for the best.*

"FL? Hello? Earth to FL?"
"Yeah? Sorry Damien, I'm just really spacey today, I keep zoning out"

*My headache is just getting worse and worse but I gotta make it through the rest of this study session. Just 10 more minutes*

*Finally, I'm almost home! It's a good thing too, I'm starting to get dizzy*

"Deviant? Is that you?" Said Gavin as he turned around the corner to greet you

"Yup, I'm home Gav.."
"Hey, are you ok? You seem a little out of it."
"Yeah, I'm good, I just had a long day"

He could easily see through your lies and could tell that there was more than that just by looking at you. He didn't even need to read your emotions but he could see that they were all over the place; relief, tiredness, guilt? Why were they feeling guilty? Was it because they were obviously lying or something else? He could barely finish his thought before he saw you falling to the floor, your body going limp as you fainted.

"Where am I..?" You think aloud as your eyes flutter open, adjusting to the bright white light reflecting off of clean white walls

"Freelancer!" Said Caelum, being the first one to notice you awake, quickly followed by Gavin who was startled by Caelum jumping up to rush to your side

You were just as startled by hearing Caelum's as Gavin was. Before saying anything, you looked at one of the walls to see Damien pacing as Lasko was sitting next to Gavin both looking extremely sad and a bit scared for you. Huxley was leaning against the wall too scared to look at you in case you were still unconscious.

As Gavin startled up so did Lasko, causing a chain reaction ending in all of them surrounding your bed.

"We were all so worried for you!" Exclaimed Caelum as he was crying
You held his hand subtly as to make sure that none of the others who can't see him can tell

"Deviant... I'm so glad you're alright." Said Gavin, misty eyed
"We all are!" Huxley added, on the verge of tears.

"I could tell something was off earlier, but I figured you were just tired. Not this! You should have told someone." He said with a tone too worried to be scolding

"Yea-yeah! I know how hard it is to ask for-for help sometimes but you still need to know when to-to-to step back for a second and take a break. I-I-I know that you feel like you still have something to prove to everybody but you don't need to overwork yourself to prove yourself. I-I-I-I mean you've already proven yourself to all of us and I don't think that you need to prove to me or any of us for that matter but I know how fixated on things your brain gets..."

After a record breaking ramble, you agreed and Gavin added "before you fainted, I read your emotions and you were feeling guilty for something, why?"

You sighed before saying "well, when I was growing up, I was always told to fix my problems myself or just shut up about it so, that's what I do. And I guess it's just a bad habit I got into."

"Well we gotta kick that habit dude!"
"Yeah, you've already made progress with asking me and Lasko for help in school"
"Yeah, you've gotten better with asking for help but you should r-really ask for help more often. Not-not that I don't think that you're bad at asking for help as it is!"
"I know you're not the best at asking for help, but you're silly if you think you're bad at it"
"Their all right, Deviant-you could be better at asking for help but you're not horrible at it either. You ask for help when you don't know what to do despite what your brain is telling you."

"Awwww, you guys!" You said while teary eyed, opening your arms that all your friends came into and hugged you tight.

"Ok with all the feels out of the way, how long have I been out for and when can I get out of here?" You said as all your friends laughed
