I wake up in a jerk, sweaty, and breathing hard. I was having a nightmare, but now that I'm awake, I can't remember exactly what happened.. I checked my phone, 7:13 am. Of course, I wake up too early for school. I'll just take a shower, I need one anyways, I haven't taken one in days, having no motivation. I get up, grab everything I need to shower, then quietly open my door and go to the bathroom, trying to not wake up my parents. I turn on the shower and get undressed, waiting for it to hit the right temperature. Once I'm in, I hurry through the usual, not wanting to stay in here long. I went out and got breakfast and took it to school, knowing my homeroom teacher would let me eat in her room. Once I arrived, I walked straight to her room, knocking on her door before going in. She smiles at me, I wave at her before sitting down and begin eating my breakfast. She goes back to her paper, knowing I'm not one for talking. She's been my favorite teacher since the beginning. She was always understanding and gentle, motherly-like. I go back to eating and scrolling on my phone, enjoying the peace and silence. A few minutes in, my teacher asks me how I am. I tell her, I'm doing okay, better than yesterday. She was happy about that. King, she was always very kind. I ask her how she is, she answers the same. The conversation ends there, but never awkwardly or rudely. The bell rings, so I throw my trash and get ready for class. I hear people start to rumble through the halls, talking, pushing, yelling. That will always be why I go to class first thing when I get here. My classmates start to come into the class, so I become busy, getting a headstart on our assignment.
