FOURTH'S POV:

Day 1:

I couldn't take it anymore. Wai's constant attention was suffocating, and I knew I had to find a way to get him off my back. My friends suggested the fake dating idea, and despite my doubts, I decided to give it a shot. After all, it couldn't get any worse, right?

As I strolled through the campus on that sunny morning, I noticed a new face—a boy with an air of mystery about him. Rumors spread like wildfire, claiming he was expelled from his previous school. Normally, I'd avoid someone with that kind of reputation, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

Summoning my courage, I approached him. "Hey, you're Gemini, right?" I asked, hoping my nerves didn't show.

He glanced at me with an arrogant smirk. "Yeah, that's me. And you are?"

"I'm Fourth," I replied, fidgeting with my bag strap. "This may sound strange, but I need your help with something."

Gemini raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Help with what?"

Taking a deep breath, I spilled the whole story about Wai, the persistent admirer I couldn't shake off. I explained how my friends suggested the idea of fake dating to make him back off.

Gemini burst into laughter, and I felt a pang of embarrassment. "You're serious?" he asked, his tone laced with arrogance.

"Completely serious," I said, feeling a mix of relief and humiliation. "I know it's a strange request, and you barely know me, but I'm at my wit's end."

His laughter subsided, and he regarded me thoughtfully. "You must be really desperate to ask a stranger for help," he said, the arrogance still evident in his eyes.

"You have no idea," I admitted with a wry smile.

Day 2:

The next day, I couldn't shake off the feeling that my friends' idea might actually work. I saw Gemini on campus again, and I mustered the courage to approach him once more.

"Hey, it's me again," I said, trying to appear nonchalant.

Gemini grinned arrogantly, clearly amused by my persistence. "Fourth, right? What brings you here today?"

I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts. "Look, I know I must sound crazy, and I don't expect you to agree, but... have you thought about my proposition?"

He crossed his arms, considering my words. "I have," he replied slowly. "And I'm still not sure about it. I mean, why me?"

"I need someone new, someone nobody knows," I explained. "It's the only way to keep this plan under wraps. Please, just think about it a little more."

Day 3:

On the third day, I couldn't shake off the nerves as I approached Gemini again. I was running out of ideas and time. Wai's relentless pursuit continued, and my patience was wearing thin.

"Hey, Fourth," Gemini greeted with a condescending smile.

"Hi," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. "Any chance you've considered helping me out?"

Gemini's arrogant demeanor softened, and he sighed. "I still think it's a crazy idea, but... I guess I could give it a try."

Relief washed over me, and I couldn't help but feel slightly irritated by his attitude. "Thank you. Really, I appreciate it."

"But remember," he warned, the arrogance creeping back into his voice, "this is only temporary. Just until you sort things out with that guy, okay?"

I nodded, feeling a mixture of gratitude and annoyance. Little did I know that this chance encounter with Gemini would set off a chain of events that would change everything.
