12 The capture

  The wild woman ain't that wild, Eren. We tracked you down at last... - She thought aloud, starting to take steps to get closer to him.

  Out of nowhere a wire exploded scaring her, but it was just the beginning. From Eren came out a hand that had a rotten or "zombish" aspect, Eren abruptly opened his eyes and with a very strange sound, like a monster.

  He began to scream as a strange greasy and dirty skin began to come out of the boy's pores, it began to take over his entire body quickly and the mouth came out of its place forming teeth that ran from ear to ear.

  Annie saw terrified how that boy turned into some kind of muscular monster, when the "transformation" was finished, Eren looked at her for a few seconds and forced himself with both legs, breaking the chains with ease, Annie noticing Eren was breaking away, she took two steps back, pointing the rifle at him.

  STAY STILL! DON'T MOVE!! - Ordered aiming the rifle plunged in fear taking steps back.

  Eren made a sudden movement with his arms and got completely loose, falling to his feet without problems on the ground. Then he approached a stretcher was there and with a blow threw it hard towards the blonde girl, an attack that by sheer luck she dodged with a duck.

  Annie, not knowing how to react against that, began to run backwards. Right at the beginning, Eren materialized a kind of rope made of a celestial crystal and threw it at her with force, hitting the girl in the stomach, making her fly.

  Annie collided with a wall and swayed in pain as Eren quickly closed in on her.

  The beast threw a punch at her, which she dodged by ducking and trying to run away to the monster's side.

  When Annie turned around, Eren was about to catch her, she awkwardly aimed the rifle shooting on full auto, hitting him three times in the chest, causing him to get a little confused.

  Annie without hesitation ran out of there, with what little strength she had she took advantage of the little stun that caused her, she had never seen anything like this in her life. She left that room and looked back to make sure he wasn't following her.

  When Annie reached the stairs, seeing the daylight above, she couldn't handle the pain in her stomach and fell on the stairs. She automatically remembered that monster was behind her chasing her, so she got up again and go directly to the exit up the stairs.

  She went up and up, she did it without thinking, doing it with the horror of knowing that she can die, really couldn't think of anything else, only that the radio signal came back, and she heard the conversations among the others searching other buildings, who they learned of Annie's availability by listening to her gasps.

  Annie? - The named heard Hange's voice on the radio.

  WE GOTTA LEAVE THIS PLACE!! - Annie shouted out of nowhere through the radio scaring everyone. - It's Eren, man! He's down there! But it got all weird, and, damn, he came at me! Slamming me into the wall, trying to take me out and shit! - Annie fell before the exhaustion, could not say anything for the exhaustion and the pain.

  Is Eren alive...? - Mikasa wondered aloud.

  Please... - Annie said trying to get up, trying to ignore the pain to go find her companions. - Let's get outta here, please!

  No! - Mikasa intervened through the radar. - We came here to capture him and we're not leaving without him! - After that she on her own decided to get up to run to the refinery on her own.

  Mikasa come back here! - Hange ordered to no avail because Mikasa couldn't go back, with a little annoyance she decided to get up to go after her.
