August's Babysitter (An August Alsina Story)

New Job

"Ma!! Can you go get McDonald's?" I yelled.

"You got McDonald's money?"

I rolled my eyes and laugh .. She always says that.

"Lyric Elizabeth Greene!" I called her by her full name.

"Ashley Lipton Greene!"

I don't know why in hell my momma gave me that middle name ... But I love joking with her.

I went downstairs and turned on the TV ..

"Big head" my mama said walking by and then hit my head.

"Woman !" I laughed

She walked in the kitchen, "What you want to eat chicken head?" She asked

"Don't matter" I told her. Then daddy walk in

"Hey baby girl" he said and kissed my forehead

"Hey old man" I said.

"Old ?"

"Yes sir" I said then saluted.

"My chest" he said holding his heart.

I laughed , " You and Mama are dorks"

"Say no more" he said then walked away.

4) My pops is a Real estate agent

I went to my room and finished my homework.

"Dinner is ready!" Ma yelled.

I went downstairs and dad was already digging in the pots.

"Richard Keith Greene get your greedy self away from the pots, women first" my mama said.

He mean mugged us and moved to the side.

We all got our food and sat at the table.

"Ashley , I got a surprise job for you" My dad said... I rolled my eyes

"Why do I have to work???" I pouted

"Fine then , I'll tell Mr. Alsina you can't help him"

"Dad real funny. Just because August lives in Atl doesn't mean y'all ran into each other. I'm not that gullible to believe that"

He laughed, "Well then"

I nodded then Mama changed the subject.

"So who did you sell a house to today?"

"Actually Mr.Alsina , but Miss Ashley suspects I'm lying" he looked my way. I shoved cabbage in my mouth.

"Maybe your dad really did meet him Ash." Mama said.

"Yeah yeah mother , August, my baby daddy wants me to work for him" I said sarcastically cause they know I love me some August.

After dinner I walked upstairs to get ready for bed even thought its like 8. I be hella tired.

I turned on my music "Planes Remix"

Then I heard the door bell rang and I ran downstairs "I GOT IT!" I yelled.

I opened the door "Who is i-"...... I can't believe it.

" AUG... AUG...AUGUST ALSINAA!!!" I screamed.

He smirked "Hey , you must be Ashley. Your dad talked so much about you today"

I smiled the whole time. Mama and pops was behind me

"You gone invite him in Ash?" My daddy laughed

"Oh my bad August , you can come in." I said giving him some room to walk in.

He laughed and came in.

I walked by my parents and just stood there and stared..

Mama nudged me and I jumped.

"Um well uh , August , I mean Mr.Alsina uh"

"You can call me August" he smiled.

"Well uh August, what brings you by?"

"Your dad said you didn't believe him about you having a job that had to do with me. So I came by to tell you it was true" he said.

I smiled the whole time.. He just.. and just make me wanna... but I gotta.. and I can't because he.. And I... ughh

Silence filled the room

"You wanna know what yo job is?" He asked me.

"Oh.. Yeah" I nodded

"Well you gone babysit my son , if that's cool?"

"Of course!" I said kinda loud.

"Well your dad knows where my house is and I should see you there after you get out of school and we will talk about what all you have to do"

"Ok" I said grinning like a crack head.

"See ya later , Goodnight Ashley" he said giving me goosebumps.

I waved goodbye and when he closed the door I started jumping.

"HE SAID MY NAME!!! AUGUST KNOWS MY NAME!!! IM GOING TO AUGUST'S HOUSE!! IM GOING TO TOUCH AUGUST'S CHILD!!!" I yelled

My mama laughed and went to bed.

"Omg thank you daddy" I ran up to hug him and he hugged me back.

"You welcome princess" he said.

I ran upstairs and called Jasmine and told her everything.

I can't even sleep.. I'm too happy!!! I don't think imma make it through school tomorrow. (Happy dance)
